    We're almost definitely underdogs now. If one of Puig, Barnes or Forsythe takes a step back from how they played in the NLDS we'll have 2-3 black holes in the lineup every night.

    In a way, I see this as not such a negative. If he was injured or playing hurt most of the season, he’s a liability in NLCS. Better to get someone healthy.

    There were stretches in the season where Seager was playing like his head was up his ass. Don’t need that now.

    Of course a healthy Seager would’ve been great, can’t cry over spilt milk.

    Losing your best player spills over though. So now we lose our 2 hitter, someone has to move up to the 2 spot which weakens the order at 2 and at the bottom, Taylor plays SS so our SS defense is worse AND our CF defense is worse whether it's Kiké or Joc.

    front office has preached depth from the start
    no, kiké and culberson are [obviously] not as good as corey
    but for the next couple weeks they could be... perhaps even better

    side note for @THINKBLUE...
    lost my beat up dodger lid just before we went on our slide
    found it just before the lds and we haven't lost since
    it's definitely seen better days, but i haven't stopped wearing it
    and i won't
    relax bkitch, we got this!

    Before we had Seager/Grandal and now we have Barnes/Seager

    The upgrade in Barnes over Grandal at the plate makes up for the downgrade from Seager to Culberson.

    Exactly why you leave him off the original roster and if he’s good to go you replace Culberson with him. If he’s not ready by game 3 then you keep him off entirely. If he comes back and gets hurt then you’re left with a tough decision.

    would have probably put barnes 2nd and kept jt/corey at 3/4 buy whatev
    not that bad a lineup tbh -- and we certainly won with worse ones during the season
