This team HAS TO start winning the games their supposed to......plain and simple. Someone mentioned last night that the Dodgers have struggled against the sub .500 teams, and for the most part they were right. And all those teams are in the NL West, where the Dodgers have gone 19-12 vs the pads, the rocks, and the snakes. They are 13-3 vs the brews, braves, and reds. and have to play 6 games vs the phillys, and 4 more vs the reds. Plus 10 more vs the snakes, 6 more vs the pads, 10 more vs the rocks and 9 more vs that fracking team in sanfranville. The divisional games, I feel, will determine if the Dodgers play in the post-season. 35 of the remaining games to be played are vs teams in the NL West and that shit starts tonight. Go Dodgers!!!

If this fairy, little milquetoast offense thing we had against Tampa isn't over, then we come away with at best, one win.
    Get some sack

Not predicting an offensive resurgence but facing Moore and Archer isn't easy. Facing these guys and their bullpen won't be as difficult. (knock on wood).

I'd almost give up my right nut to see the Gnats tumble into the fat steaming pile of excrement they truly are this year, which will become the first year of may to come of baseball irrelevance they once.

I want that whole edifice to collapse into the sea.

Dodgers/D’bags schedule & probable starting pitchers
by Eric Stephen | True Blue LA — 31 minutes ago

The Dodgers conclude their week-long homestand with three weekend games against the Diamondbacks. Here is a look at the schedule for the series and the probable starting pitching matchups for the series at Dodger Stadium.

    Friday, 7:10 pm
Kenta Maeda has a 4.02 ERA in three starts against the Diamondbacks, though he has allowed more runs and been removed earlier in each successive appearance against them. He went from six scoreless innings at home on April 12 to allowing three runs in 5⅓ innings on June 14 and five runs in 4⅓ innings on July 17, the latter two in Phoenix. Jake Lamb has been his biggest tormentor, going 5-for-7 (.714) with two doubles, a home run and a walk against Maeda. Since rejoining the starting rotation this month, Zack Godley has a 6.89 ERA in three starts, allowing 13 runs (12 earned) on 24 hits in 15⅔ innings, with 12 strikeouts and six walks.

    Saturday, 6:10 pm
Scott Kazmir has a 3.00 ERA in four starts in July, with 26 strikeouts and only three walks in 21 innings, and a 30.2-percent strikeout rate. The Dodgers have won all four starts. Braden Shipley makes his second major league start after allowing six runs, including three home runs, in 5⅓ innings in his major league debut on Sunday in Milwaukee. The right-hander, drafted by Arizona in the first round in 2013, had a 3.70 ERA in 19 starts with Triple-A Reno this season, with 77 strikeouts and 22 walks in 119⅓ innings.

    Sunday, 1:10 pm
Since joining the Dodgers, Bud Norris has a 1.56 ERA in three home starts, with 19 strikeouts and five walks, with one home run allowed. In three road appearances, including two starts, Norris has a 8.74 ERA in 11⅓ innings, with 13 strikeouts and two walks, and four home runs allowed. Patrick Corbin last earned a win on June 21. In six starts since, the left-hander has failed to complete six innings, putting up a 7.45 ERA during that span, allowing 33 runs (24 earned) on 39 hits in 29 innings, with 24 strikeouts, 20 walks and seven home runs allowed.
