    So he's basically doing the same thing he has the rest of his career except for two years. What Pearce is doing this year is an anomaly compared to the rest of his career

    Yeah, but JT was 29 when LAD got him, the same age that Bruce is now.
    Pearce is 33, I don't think they'd be puttin Pearce on the JT plan.
    Anyway, both Bruce and Pearce could help the team, I don't understand why it has to be one or the other, or this guy or that guy.
    Either one helps.
