    Ah the "Small Sample Size Perspective"... OK. My point would align more with Lifetime Greinke v. Kazmir...
    Greinke lifetime ERA 3.38 with WAR of 44.6
    Kazmir lifetime ERA 3.97 with WAR of 22.8

    OK bust my balls over WAR not being entirely scientific and I'll agree. Which changes my point not in the least.

    OK I get that. And "IF" he was going to tank the following year I can be perfectly at peace with it happening to the Dbags

    As far as the SP goes, I think Maeda will be the best shot after CK. Kazmir, as Cap said, was not a true indication of where he is at by the first game he pitched in SD. Unfortunately. And Stripling, God bless the kid, will sooner or later come to earth. And I have little faith in Wood for deep in a game at any time soon.
    The BP is the horror show redux it was last year out of the gate.
    The O is scoring a pretty fair amount of runs per game, but it is simply not enough with this ridiclouly weak pen.
    Bad situation indeed.

    wood gives up back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back-to-back bombs without recording a single out
    and stripling throws another 7.3 hitless innings, but is lifted again for hatcher after issuing a bb
    the dbags surprise ph hits a 2run shot and we lose 1-0

    Yeah Greinke is way better, that was part of my original point. Was just making a smal little semi-joke that our panic over 2 Kazmir starts needs more time to see what he really is, cause even Greinke at this point has been worse but we know he'll end up good to great

    I'm not really sure why you bat your best hitter 7th. Especially since he's a lefty that has shown the ability to hit LHP just fine. I do like that we can throw together a solid RH lineup though.

    Roberts said Seager would bat higher against other lefties. I'm making a leap but, it might be that they feel Seager will struggle a bit specifically against Corbin's stuff? Not a pitcher vs. hitter analysis based on results, maybe an analysis based off how Seager does to people comparable? Again, I'm just guessing but yeah

    Glad Enrique leads off against LHP though, he's proven he's very good against them
