So I'm away on business in Hawaii with no access to the game- (also it's 3 hrs earlier here)... Anyway been sitting at a bar getting hammered and reading this thread was interesting to say the least.. I seriously thought from all the comments that papsmear was getting straight shelled for like 22 runs or something.. Then I get to the last few pages and find he only gave up 2 runs... Puig and Joc get on and Yaz hits a homer to go ahead.. And then the mood shifts to sucking dicks all of a sudden.. I'm truly amazed at this forum.. Thanks for an iteresting night cock suckers... go dodgers
That moment when you look at your last drink... And realize.. It's going to be an interesting walk back to the hotel.. Bottoms up bkitches...
Thanks for that... I've already moved onto the yard house of all places directly next to my temporary crib..your reassurance is comforting... Bartender I'll have another..
Yaz did the hero thing, and deserves all the praise from all of us. But my pick for player of the game is Adrian Gonzalez...hands down. The guy is nails and a magician over there, and it would be a different story many times, if it were not for his presence at first base. Amazingly consistent excellence, year after year. Imo, he is the singular most important cog in why our D is rated where it is, plain and simple. The D is good, but Adrian makes it elite. Bravo.
Not to diminish his fielding skills, but he's the best throwing 1B the Dodgers have had since I've been following them (shortly before the spitball was outlawed).
On a 5 game winning streak with 4 comebacks: Vs Milwaukee we were down 2-1 entering the 8th , down 5-2 in the 3rd the next night , down 1-0 entering the 8th on Sunday, and last night we were down 2-0 entering the 8th. Loving these comebacks.
