I really think this is a lack of focus. The Dodgers can't keep the foot on a team's throat. Not in them. This team doesn't focus. It's something collective. Not belly who's been good all year.
Cruz doing his thang as usual. Producing. Wow. Horrible. It's one thing to miss a call, but to refuse to ask for help when you are clearly wrong, and shake your head at Ellis like it was obvious is BS.
Yeah, baseball can drive you fucking crazy thinking about a lot of games that could have been different and the difference between 3GB and 2 GB is huge at this point. Oh well I guess
Im hoping Cincy and Washington keeps playing hard til the end and the Cards lose 4/6 while we win 5/6
I think Davey Johnson said he didn't mind tanking. At least we have played better, but here comes our kryptonite, soft tossing lefty
Yeah, just gotta take it day by day. Pretty much any loss means the season's over. Kershaw tomorrow, hope to start the final 6 off the right way! Would be nice for the Nats to take game 1 too.
They have to run the table. Simple as that. I don't see them beating the Giants more than once and the Rockies are killing us lately. Winning 2/3 in SD was nice and all, but we needed a sweep. This team just doesn't do quite enough. They have to win every game. Hope we can....but Bleh. Hard to believe this team can do it. I've got tix to tomorrow night's game but am busy. Hopefully I regret missing the game.
I thought Capuano, who is not my favorite guy ever, walked the tightrope, but came through when he had to. I don't think he can go too deep anymore into games...if we get 5 from him with 0/1 runs, it's all cake. So, nice going Chris. But let's face it, if Belisario wasn't part legendary/mythical creature, his arm would be hanging off like someone from the Dawn of the Dead. The guy is human. Imagine if Hanley and Dre the K were hitting, too. That would be nice, wouldn't it? I would just like to see it for a couple of games...where all of the BIG 4 square it up-just for some hope in the future. Just two or three times before the curtain drops. Maybe it's me, but Ramirez has the weirdest throw I've ever seen. There's something about the way he lets the ball go from his hand that is really odd to me; it was like he was aiming at the Padre dugout last night....they all stood there and the ball went down the tunnel, in between a bunch of them watching it sail through. Almost surreal. All hail Luis Cruz.
