Not sure why but it seems to always be Kershaw that gets stuck with these lineups.

Hoping they step up today. HFA over the Yanks would not be an insignificant thing.

expanding on a thought I had yesterday, if in fact Turner is being a bit shaky I think it's worth it to have Rios take Lux spot on the playoff roster. Idk. I actually don't think Lux has been that bad or anything, serviceable but I mean, Rios has hit better and if he can play 1b/3B, we can have Muncy at 2B.

Lineup against righties can be: Joc, Muncy, Turner, Bellinger, Seager, Pollock, Rios or Beaty, Smith, Pitcher.

I say sit Turner for rest of year and get Rios starts against righties for rest of year. Beaty too

Kershaw is facing the Padres lineup. the Dodgers lineup should be the last thing on his mind. But that's just my opinion

You've got a point, but at least they don't have a Gyorko. What the hell is that, anyhow?

Nice little tuneup start for Kershaw before the playoffs. But gosh is the way the rotation lining up mean he’s pitching Game 1? Ugh

Assuming Buehler pitches tomorrow, Buehler would be lined up to go Game 1 with an extra day of rest.

I can’t say if this is the real thinking, but if Kershaw is slated for Game 3 (or 4) he would have so much time off that you would almost want to give him a relief appearance in Game 1(or 2)

Say what you want about Orel, but the dude is flat out astute when it comes to kinesiology and how it all relates to pitching.
    Guy knows his shit.

Full game ahead of the Yanks. So if we take 2 of 3 from the Gnats, they'd need to sweep to take back HFA. Bad news is they're playing Texas. While the Rangers and Gnats have similar W-L records, I have a feeling the Gnats will be more motivated than Texas will.

They have a manager with one foot out the door, and they can’t ruin our season in any real way. So I dunno, but they might not be as motivated as in years past.

And while I don’t expect us to go all out in the series, but on the off chance we sweep, we would finish with the most wins in franchise history.
