we need to sweep these bkitches
just not feeling confident in any of our pitchers in that coors hellhole
Seems like we're always playing there.
In other news, water is wet, video at 11.
Knowing Denver well, let me say this. Rockie fans are arguably baseball's least informed, most insipid fans. But if you let those idiots into a game as a 10th man on the field, they are loud and boisterous. Right now, that town is gearing up for football, so a big win in game 1, lots of offense, and first inning runs in all three games goes a long way in that stadium. The stands empty out in the fifth and half the fans will be in LoDo vaping some killer dope. But they'll stay if it's close, and they can be a factor. Dodgers must control that element. They love beating LA there.
Of course, as stated ... Water is wet, etc.
Like y'all said - MUST sweep. Must. No quarter shall be given. Slay them all.
Little more than a week ago the Rox were hot and had me worried. Not any more. Not saying they will be easy, just that any momentum they had is gone. They are truly in the spoiler role now, as are the pAAdres. So shit could happen. But personally, I think the Cubs series may turn the corner as far as the mindset of this team goes. I think they have confidence going forward and as long as they do they will elevate their performance. But...WTF do I know?
Hill ready for the mountain
10-3, 2.09..those are some sparkling numbers
feeling hill's breaking ball may be particularly ineffective
Yeah...needs to change speed on pitches more in the thin air I'm guessing.
Looking forward to this series at Coors like a trip to the dentist.
Ugh I fucking hate Coors
Already pissed off... But no reason we can't win the series
On the bright side, if the next 4 series go off as scheduled per ESPN, only 3 LH starters. (Tyler Anderson, Clayton Richard and Robbie Ray).
God I hope Ruiz wasn't the front office's answer to "helping vs LHP"
We were a Kenley blown save away from sweeping the 81-45 Cubs with Norris, Urias, and Stewart. I'm feeling confident. Not confident as fuck though...
It is an incremental upgrade, I don't care what anybody says about clubhouse crap.
Worried as well but maybe he can use his experience to fool those guys. It was rumored that MedCarthy would start Wednesday, thank goodness he isn't!!!! I was actually entertaining the thought of going to the Tuesday game there.

Good stuff. As long as we face righties we have a chance at this point.
The Dodger bamboo bends but will not break apparently. There's been multiple series I thought would be the beginning of the collapse. But they keep getting back up.
