Ooo Lagunitas are fantastic, especially the Lil Sumpin. Not that I am picky with beer though, I can tolerate most stuff that doesn't try to be very crazy
Lucky 13 got me through some hard times. Regular Lagunitas IPA is pretty smooth, but their specialties have an extra kick. I think we talked about this before, Hairy Eyeball is my absolute favorite Lagunitas, but it's like drinking a milkshake.
Last time I went to Petco last year they had a booth outside that had great deals on this on tap and damn did I enjoy that
Honestly, I don't mind drinking it, but Sculpin is not my favorite. Ballast Point Yellow Tail is super smooth though. I actually want to take a trip down to SD this summer and visit the Ballast point brewery downtown. I was there a couple months back and the menu of options looked amazing, but I was just walking by with family so didn't stay. I know guys who swear by Sculpin.
IPA's are chill, way too overhyped IMO. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of great IPA's but so many breweries only focus on hops. There are so many great styles out there. Give me a good stout or old ale and I'm good.
I love Sculpin. I'll have to venture out and try some of their other beers. I tried Big Eye and wasn't as impressed. My friend who lives in SD recommends that beer tour to everyone haha.
oh yeah and theres been an over saturation IMO where either a lot of them taste the same and go to strong or they try to be unique and it comes off wack. The good ones are enjoyable as hell when you're in the mood though. But again, I'm not a great person to talk beer with cause I'm not picky (Not in the sense where I'll prefer cheap ass beer, just in the sense where I don't have a specific beer palette I desire)
