    At least vs left handers.
    And in the series as a DH.
    Because we are still weak vs LH.
    Our best regular last year vs lefties was Puig at .261 .313 .471 .784
    Followed by Seager at .250 .308 .413 .722
    Bellinger hit .273 .339 .515 .855 vs lefties in the minors. I'd be happy is he hit as well as puig or seager vs lefties at least.
    This would be the heart of the order vs lefties.

    2b Logan Forsythe
    lf Franklin Gutierrez
    rf Yasiel Puig
    ss Corey Seager
    1b Cody Bellinger
    cf Alex Verdugo
    3b Kike Hernandez
    c Austin Barnes

    the Dodgers need to upgrade at least the Kike Hernandez part. Unless he has a resurgence.
    Justin Turner, Joc Pederson, Adrian Gonzales, and whomever starts in LF between Ethier or Toles are all platoon hitters.
    The Dodgers should ride Ethier in LF with Gutierrez as his platoon for this year and as much as the next year as he can produce.
    Trayce Thompson, Alex Verdugo and a bunch of other young OF are coming up through the ranks to take over When Ethier can no longer hang. And hopefully they wont need a platoon.

    Willie Calhoun can possibly moved to LF. But he does not hit lefties very well. He feasts against righties.
    The team should pair Calhoun and Toles in trade for a super utility infielder who can hit LHP well.
    They need an upgrade to the Culbersons, Kikes, Taylors and Segedins class of utility.
    If the Dodgers could get Kinsler for Toles and Calhoun it would make the team much deeper.
    Kinsler would be the starting 2B but take a lot of days off to keep him fresh. That way Logan gets plenty of at bats.
    Justin Turner only plays against right handers. Logan takes over 3B against lefties.

    If I'm understanding correctly that you're forecasting two more years of Ethier, I highly doubt he will amass the 550 PA's this year for his 2018 option to vest. Pretty sure this is our last year of Andre.

    We will probably have a "Win for Joe Davis" campaign in 2050. Where we will be eliminated by the Cardinals in the first round.

    Steamer projections agree with you. As do I. Bellinger seems like such a student of the game and great at making adjustments. So whatever time he has left in the minors won't be wasted. When he gets here, he's gonna do damage.
