In the end, what does it matter what guys are wearing or what's fashionable as far as hair, etc? It's all about the babes, in my book. Looking back on history, I think the 40's styles with the padded shoulders and short skirts were awesome, and the hair styles were so cool. Didn't get to chance to live/see it, but looks good and films and older photos to me. But in my time, on the right woman, a pair of low hip huggers, and a top with no bra was sex personified to me. Simple and to the point. Either they had it or they didn't...no fake bullshit available then. You knew exactly what you were getting.
I think "mohawks" really look great on the...uh...Mohawks and Pawnee and many eastern tribes who wore them. I liked it in WWII patatroopers, too. Balls to the wall. Geronimo. I see some little kids with thick hair where the strip forms a bristly scalp roach, which is what it is supposed to be. But Joc's is a poor, flaccid imitation, which appears goofy and foppish from the original. Silly boy. Btw, I liked it on Travis Bickle, too.
