There is. The league is against the Lakers. If the trade is to be made without league veto the Lakers and AD need to make it look like AD is not saying Lakers or bust. And that the Lakers made a great initial offer that demps refused. The 3 teams AD said he would sign with will not be able to make a trade for him. This takes away any avenue for the league to nix a deal due to some new made up basketball reasons rule to punish us for AD forcing his way to Lakers. Mitch did not know how to play ball.
