    Boring game to be at, but I witnessed Kershaw greatness for free. Doesn't get any better than that.

    Or exactly the opposite, hitting down on the ball wa-a-ay too much. Choppers and groundouts. I guess everyone's entitled to slump, but he just seems so dopey sometimes with his approach to hitting. We are doing OK with him contributing nil basically, so no harm done, but someone has to grab hold of him and talk (the hitting coach, maybe???) to him. You don't want to mess too much with a guy with his potential, but maybe a slight crouch AB may serve him well. His swing is just driving the ball almost straight down for quite a while now. He hits it hard enough that some will get through, but really, is Puig's path not that of a savage line drive hitter? The 3 triples game was Yasiel at his utter best. Forget about HRs.
    I thought that the curse of the scumbag Dbacks had hold of Clayton early on, but man, can this kid shake it off and refocus , or what? Just so inspirational...I think I may get up and actually go for a walk down the road today; not too far though.
    The first time all year he had the bases loaded sgainst him? That's just an incredible stat...At 16-3, he is looking very Kufu-like. I guess he guess about 5/6 more starts the rest of the year....love to see him get the magic 20.
    Oh, and can someone put a little hemlock in Chris Russo's Red Bull? Man this guy is on the Dodgers for anything he can conjure up.
    Fucking Giant fans. Right up there with panty hose and toll roads.

    I don't recall what his injury was, but Mattingly said he likely won't be ready to join the Dodgers in September. :(
