I just never believed in this game from the beginning for us; I hope I'm wrong.
I think that AJ Ellis is the worst catcher in baseball. I'd rather see Butera there and Ellis back him up. The guy is shot, at least this season. Horrible.
Any catcher that makes it to the ML knows how to call a game...at least pretty well. The pitcher is in charge anyway.
I don't see the great value of a guy like Ellis, who is a liabilty AB, can't block balls 50% of the time, and is the absolute worst I'ver seen at catching throws from the OF.
Jaw-droppingly bad at it.
