Garbage loss. Should have beat them with a little common sense, but choked away a game.

Well that sucked, but SF lost, so no harm done.

Just let the best pitcher in baseball do his thing tomorrow.

Don Mattingly was saving JP Howell for the ninth inning because Wilson and Jansen were "Unavailable"
    Oh you fucking dumb ass.

League is a former closer. Shouldn't Howell be used in the 8th and League in the 9th?

seriously, the bullpen is the only thing I could see holding this team back (besides injuries obviously)

and those of us that harbor a seething disdain for donniedouchebag continue to worry what these kind of decisions will cost when it really counts

Damn, I guess I'm used to the "old days" and I can go fuck myself.
But if a professional athlete can't come in to pitch a couple of days in a row, after a whole huge one inning the day before, WTF are these cunts made of then? OK, I could see Jansen being ineffective if he came in after a 4out save and all that BS, but a guy like JP and League are unusable?
because of the 12-14 pitches the day before? Guys at the top of their physical game in their 20's? What's their training regimen? Cocaine and heroin?
Christ, what pussies...or maybe DBB and other wimp managers just treat them like that. WTF do they get paid for?
When I think of the training techniques and the sports medicine available these days, and how they are pampered like little premature babies, how the hell do you explain guys like Hoffman and Rivera and quite a few others. Not everyone was on 'roids forever; there was a time when no one even knew they existed...
I withdraw my crticism of Puig as not being a superstar-he is actually...because the criteria now in the "roidless" era is so-o-o much lower than it used to be for being so.
No Willie, Mickey or the Duke these days...not even fucking close.
Not even if Vinny says so...it is what it is, they say all the time now. And if that's true, and pretty much explains everything, then "it ain't what it ain't" is true also.
    Thank you.

3-for-3 quality starts from hernandez and correia
but let's be realistic... how long can we expect that unlikely trend to continue?
as amazing as our #1 and #2 starters are, there's still only so much you can rely on/expect from them
a healthy ryu and beckett would change the look of this team considerably, especially if you're sitting in the opposing dugout
but if i'm a team coming in to play a three game series against the dodgers, and i hear haren/hernandez/correia are going... :rubhands:
