    Looks like the Tiger handed the Angels their new GM... Unless the Madres are smart enough to dump Preller.

    The only other options I see might be Cleveland, Milwaukee or Boston.

    Interesting read here if anyone is intrested in how some trades can develop.

    Ned pretty much lucked into the deal by seeing on TV that Manny was rumored to be traded to Florida. So it was definitely not some grand plan he came up with but one he pretty much lucked into. Why am I not surprised? lmao

    So Ned also didn't have shit to do with Puig signing, Kasten and Walter did a lot with the Adrian trade, or Kershaw signing, and now I wanna know the in depth details for the Hanley trade.

    I think actually the best thing Ned ever did, would be signing Greinke.
    If of course, that's the way it really played out.
    Amazing, when you think how long the LAD organization goes with mediocrity, when you consider the tenures of ned Colletti and Donnie...the biggest money in BB, at least one of the top two urban areas in the country, marquee players up and down the lineup, and zero to show for it.
    Of course, I'm old school, and the WS is the prize for me.
    If it's being "elite" and just getting to the post, then we are fine...laughably.
    Even those who say, "getting to the post is the name of the game-it's all a crapshoot from there", which has some definite validity to it I agree...it's just that we suck so badly at crapshooting, I guess.
    The Giants seem extra good at it, I would say.

    • The Dodgers showed more interest in Cole Hamels than they did in either Price or Cueto. They were completely closed off to the idea of trading either Corey Seager or Julio Urias, though. He adds that right-hander Jose DeLeon wasn’t available in talks for rental pieces, which could imply that he was at least attainable in Hamels talks.
