The Dodgers top prospects are too enticing for teams not to ask for. Giants had some interesting ones but they can offer their best, and it comes off as good cause it's their best, but in reality the Dodgers secondary prospect talent is better.

    It sounds homerish but yep

I really looked into it today and was surprised as well. But he's a pretty bad injury risk to be honest. But when he plays, he hits. He can play 1B, 2B, RF, and LF. Who knows what they want for him but I mean, he seems like he fits perfectly on this team (Including the injury risk part,... I'm beating everyone to the joke...)

He's 33 y.o. with injury risk. How much can they really ask for him?

Yeah, but he's bald. White guys with great hair should be priority #1.

    not sure deleon is ready
otherwise we should have seen him before tepesch/stewart
micah johnson is garbage right now
barnes is a much better option than aj, but he needs to play frequently imo

    speaking of which
i've been playing this game on my phone that awards you w/certain players
what kind of fucked up world is it when the top prize for winning the top tourney is aj ellis?!!!

and a pending free agent, not much I would hope. I might convince myself he should be the #1 OF target but that might be crazy. I don't even know if they should want a lefty or righty more, I just love the idea that he can play everywhere cause that is so helpful to a roster, as we've seen with Howie and many others they've gotten

I think the reds are in such bad shape they'll take middle to lower tier spects for their high price guys. Rays may not try to rape us due to friedmans connections there.

With that said I don't really care for Bruce. I believe he's had one really good season and he's been hyped up since day one. I'm down with archer if we can get him and not give up a kings random. I think he'd do really well in the division and more specifically at dodger stadium. Not to mention he'll be pitching in meaningful games.

Now I need to find a Rays reliever to target so we can get a SP, RP, and hitter from them in one trade and I can dream about it

Imo JDL can put up similar production if not better than what we have seen from teen Urias.
Jdl is 4 years morr experienced as a pro in the minors.
He is way ready to join the team.
Unless he doesnt pan out at all.
Worst case scenario is that jdl is a 4.50 to 4.75 starter and becomes a reliever. Thats where archer is now.
Sure archer used to be a solid #3 type... But we got lots of those.
And JDL should be that if he doesnt fulfill all his promise of a #2 or wash out. The dude us ready now not in a few years. So why trade him plus other valuabble prospects for a relatively lateral move?

#1 OF target, as in pure outfielder, you can make the case for Adam Eaton or Melky Cabrera.
Get team control with both, both are quality, and Hahn says the CHISox are open for business.
LAD obviously scooped up Trayce from the CHISox, so maybe they link up again?
Either one goes in RF over Puig, so my blessings are through the roof.

He impressed the heck out of me during the Cuba game, and I totally agree that is one of his major selling points. Wouldn't be surprised to see him become a broadcaster or a politician later in life.

And to add that doesn't mean he won't back down if he thinks something is wrong. This is him standing up for Evan Longoria. Go to 1:22 where you can see him yell, "That's bullshit... that's bullshit, Estrada". Then he and Mark Buerhle get into it.
