Frazier and Sheffield is a pretty nice haul for the Yankees.

Fun fact: in 1988 the L.A. Lakers and L.A. Dodgers won championships... and the RNC was in LA

Wow, the Indians are loaded. Glad they're in the AL.

Don't know for sure, but he plays for the Milwaukee Brewers ?
    Other possible reasons:
    • Cheeseheads
    • Braun is a team mate
    • Women can't wear red on the street
    • Sparklers are illegal
    • Auto matic machine guns are not

That's dumb. The Indians are obviously going for it and you veto the trade? Only thing I can think of is that Texas is the other team that seems to be hot on him and he thinks they have a better shot of winning it all.

Edit: Ahhh, he wanted his club option for 17 to be waived. Welp, he should have used that to negotiate for a higher deal cause now they will just trade him to a team not on his no-trade

He wanted '17 waived? LOL that changes the deal completely, he was asking way too much.

Truth is, he's set to make $5 million next year when he should be making $20 million +, so he would have been dumb not to use his leverage to get something. But I was picturing him getting $2-$5 million added to next year, what he asked for was much bigger than that.

In this case who he's being traded to is a distant second to the financial implications. He's a player who has made way less money over his career than he should have.

I don't blame Lucroy at all. Being traded is a huge pain and it wasn't worth it.

@Ken_Rosenthal: Stands to reason #Brewers will continue trying to move Lucroy. #Dodgers indeed were in mix, likely spinning him elsewhere. @Jonheyman on it.

Get Beltran, a second tier reliever, and hope Kershaw comes back.

Really getting old now watching the transactions of the other front runners going out and getting the players they need and making the deals that they have to to get them.
With our noses pressed up against the window pane...tiresome that this all seems to be happening again.
After all that promise and high hopes we were fed, now we'll hear and read that standing pat is OK...just watch. Or/ and economy.
I know there is today and tomorrow until 1:00 pm, so we'll see.
But it looks to me like the real quality is already gone from the market.
