I hope I'm totally wrong, but this guy appears to be made out of tissue paper.
Well, DaRo is right, sure is" disconcerting".

This whole spring with some exceptions have been disconcerting! I'd say this was just bad luck but it's seems to happen to us alot the last few years.

WOOOO Ethier fucked for a few months cool

Crawford/SVS/Thompson should hold down the fort in the meantime. Certainly not ideal though.

I'm sure I read about it all, but forgot or whatever...but what's the reason Lopes is no longer 1b coach again?

    Ethier out 10-14 weeks?!?!

Don't most bones mend in 4-6 weeks?

Oooooh this must be one of those 'lefty' bones that he's allergic to

He didn't want to sit around waiting on his future while the Dodgers picked a new manager and that guy decided his coaching staff, probably

Lucky draw for DR, all these injuries, should probably take some pressure off.
Oh well, we've seen AGon carry us for stretches, hopefully he used the time with the Mexican national team to get lit

This pretty much guarantees ethier on our roster for this year. Maybe CC can build up some semblance of trade value. It'll be cool to see what Thompson and maybe even what micah can do now at least. I still think wood can at least be an average #4, rough start and all.

Listening to garbage ESPN 710 radio has almost made me want Thompson to fail. Calling him by his first name and talking about him all the time (since when do you guys care so much about 5th OFers?) just because Michael Thompson works there. "Trayce" "Trayce" "Trayce".

Also when I heard and from what I've heard, they've been trash talking Joc a lot. I know Joc deserves some criticism but they've been attacking his spring so far, and then when I looked Joc was doing better then Thompson, based off spring stats I guess

Watching Timeless Dodgers from 2004 right now. They won 94 games that year.

Holy crap did Depodesta clean house.

The starters alone all disappeared so quickly. Beltre, Iztruis, Cora, Green, Ladouca, Finley, etc.

There was almost nobody left in 2005.
By 2006, Olmedo Saenz was the only player left from 2004.
And Ethier is curretly the only player left from 2006 or earlier.

Not saying those weren't the right moves for the franchise at the time, but damn...the turnover of this franchise...It bothers me that the Dodgers were irrelevant during the 90s and 2000s when the Yankees were playing against another NL team in the World Series every season. Before baseball became so regional.

I hope building our farm system will give us long stretches of having the same core players go out and win titles together. Have players that people think "Dodgers" when they hear their name. Career Dodger stars. Like Beltre, Piazza, Pedro, etc should've been. And arguably some of the 2006 rookie class if injuries and wasted opportunities didn't prevail.

Sad saga... and it got us what?

A bankrupt franchise that used to be one of the best.

True. But just to play devil's advocate...we did have a competitive team again and a strong rookie class coming in by 2006...Brad Penny was more valuable than who we traded for him...and we drafted Kershaw as a result of our crappy 2005 season. I think if we kept Beltre, rolled out Martin, Loney, Ethier, Kemp, Bills, Broxton, and actually made an effort to add legit starting pitching, we would have had a good 7 year run of title contending teams with those guys.

Hate to bring it up, but "he whose name shall not be used" is having a great spring training....1.88 era so far and looking good.

I hope the rest of that team crashes and burns.
