    SVS was our best hitting outfielder last year, and he's no Matt Kemp. Trading him when we need his bat is dumb despite the fact the moron is going to injure himself twenty times next season.

    Don't you know that the difference between 3 years and 4 years is way too big to risk?? I mean, all kinds of hell could break loose in that 4th year and he might pitch like Brian Wilson or his arm might fall off. Safer bet is signing a mediocre RP to a 3 year deal and avoiding that dreadful 4th year.
