    • The most likely destination for Bartolo Colon is either the Angels or Dodgers, one executive tells Adam Rubin of ESPN New York (via Twitter). The Tigers don’t have the money for him, Rubin writes. The Mets placed Colon on revocable waivers on Saturday. Rubin tweets that he does not think the Mets will get rid of Colon simply to avoid paying him his $11MM salary next year.

    I mean we don't need him, but he'd be perfect for the 5th spot once Ryu gets back. That'll be when we can start getting on some win streaks hopefully.

    Should have gotten Colon before Correia but I don't see them claiming him now. Sept. 1st is right around the corner so idk if they really need him. Let's just get healthy ffs!!

    Colon is easily better than Haren, so he should slot as a #4 here..and i don't know about anybody else, but we could use a #4. unless you wanna see Haren making starts in the post season.

    na, give me Colon, get Ryu back and give Greinke a couple weeks of rest and we can survive a good portion of September with that.

    With all these desperation scenarios being thrown about, it kinda makes me feel we are desperate, too.
    We just aren't that good that we can do that, IMO. No way in hell.
    The expanded roster may help, definitely, but I hope there is not a reticence to use a young pitcher instead of a washed up vet, like there always fucking is with the Dodgers.
    Correia, my ass. The only Correia on the team should be the place Ryu was born...period.

    That is genuinely unreal.... I honestly can't believe that. Feels like he is hitting like .280 with much less power or SLG. Color me surprised.

    Just heard a stat on mlb network that blew me away. THE Los Angeles Dodgers infield is ranked 4th in defensive runs saved in the major leagues???? I guess if I think about it with Juan has been fantastic and Dee playing well plus AGon saving throws but Hanley is our SS.

    give a little cred to our starters as well..not a ton of screaming shots being sent at our infielders. also Hanley's missed enough time to help that ranking as well.

    The Mets reportedly want the moon for Bartolo so it's not looking promising. Feldman has 2 years left on his deal. To be eligible for the playoffs they have to be traded before 8/31. 6 days away.
