I’d like to know which scumbags voted for the other 5, especially “paul dejong” which sounds like a joke write in.

I imagine Rhys Hoskins got a vote or two
He wasn't as productive as Cody in total, but game for game, Hoskins was putting in work
    I mean Hoskins had a 1.000+ OPS

anyone else think maybe he wasn't hurt all that bad and is fucking pissed that dre got the nod?
can't imagine him not cheering on the team unless he just can't control his emotions
especially if dave made the call

pretty lame no matter how you look at it
what kind of message does (essentially) going awol send to your teammates?
when dre was rehabbing he was still in the dugout cheering on the guys (and giving cody shit lol)
and when joc was left off the lds roster, he was still in the dugout rooting for them
    fuck agon
he shouldn't have played in the wbc when he wasn't fully healthy
and there are rumors he's thinking of playing elsewhere this winter:
    • On Monday, Fernando Ballesteros, Director of Puro Beisbol, tweeted that Adrian Gonzalez is in Italy while his teammates are about to begin the World Series. He doesn’t explain what he’s doing there, but Ballestreros also goes on to say that Gonzalez is on the radar of los Charros de Jalisco, a team that plays in the Mexican Pacific League, to play a short stint for them in the Winter.
    fucken selfish prick
his priority should be getting 100% healthy for the team that actually pays him
imo, the message he's sending to his teammates is "it's all good as long as i'm playing... but if i'm not, fuck it -- you guys are on your own
yes i'm speculating... but if he were here with his team -- or even in the country -- it would leave a lot less open to interpretation

Actually man that is just your take because you are a fan.
They are pro athletes, its a business to them. Most everything you get from them is an act.
But when it comes to their own agendas the truth is easy to see.
When you are together you are a team, that is true. But once you are out of the picture you are no longer part of the family album.

When Shaq had to have foot surgery he decided to have it during 'company time' since he hurt it during company time.
We hated that shit as fans, he did not understand the problem as he was looking at it as an employee.
The same way we would look at it if we got hurt on the job right before your 2 weeks vacation that you had planned all year with your family to go away and visit extended family overseas. The tickets and hotel are all paid for as is a bunch of other stuff. Then there are your family expectations that are worth way more.
But your boss says, yo Irish about your vacation, i need you to do these TPS reports first and then you can go. But that will take you 3 days and your flight leaves tomorrow morning?
    What do you do?
You would not report to work, fuck that. You would get on that plane and deal with the consequences when you get back. Knowing that in reality there should not be anything other than your boss not giving you as much love as before since you arent a 'team player'.
But we know full well team player only extends to what the bosses want from the employees. That shit is always a one way street.
The employees never get to tell the boss to be a team player because.... Business is business and the guy in power is the master which means he will try and act as if he owns you if you let him.

Adrian has taken the needle to get through tough parts of the season through pain.
That needle takes a little bit of your life each time you take it.
He was put to the side when relative newcomers like Utley, Logan, and more importantly Granderson have sucked way worse than he.
While Joc flounders himself to a roster spot and Andre is brought back from the dead Gonzales was still trying plugging away.
We did not need to pull Gonzales from the team, we just did not need to trade for Granderson. Or we should have had the balls to sit Utley over Gonzales. Gonzales gave a lot for this team and was literally dumped for going on a slump that was not nearly as bad as the slumping years of the other guys I mentioned.

The Dodgers did him dirty, they knew they could get away with it because Adrian is class and would not cause chemistry problems due to being tossed aside down the stretch. He would not talk shit about the team or other players that produce less than he was.
He would just quietly go away into the sunset and prepare for next year. I extremely doubt he ever wears Dodger Blue again.

Why are you all butthurt that he is preparing to play in the Winter?
Did he promise you a date before he left LA or something?

Let it go. He played well for us those first few years when he came over, and now he can’t play when it matters. He’s bent, but I can’t say I don’t understand.

Hopefully everyone gets a ring if the Dodgers pulls this off, and let bygones be bygones because he will most likely begone.

I don’t care either way, but yeah, that’s a bad look for AGon no matter how you try slice it. Would guess that the team has told him that he’s not in the cards for 2018 and so he bailed. Too bad, would have been cool to have his name announced before Game 1 as he would have gotten a great ovation.

Until we know why he is in Italy which hasn't been revealed that I know of I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. Game is tomorrow let's see. The other thing is that Dave talks to everyone during the day before the game and maybe he A-Gon has permission which would be odd. Nobody else seems to be bent about it that I know of as well.

no, it's "my take" based on the information out there
the dodgers "did adrian dirty"? really, how exactly?
not "butthurt" he's playing winter ball
just using it to highlight his ill-advised priorities
and if he were so "classy" as you said, he would have laid low for the next week then gone to italy
but no, he'll be there to collect his ring
they should mail it to italy with his dfa papers

You have a right to feel what you feel, but he did a lot for us too, and I can’t forget that either.

At some point we all lose “it”, but hope people remember when we did have “it.” In a lot of cases, that’s not how fans or society deals with it, and anger or resentment happen.

like his big hit against chapman last year (before blanton shit the bed)
but that doesn't give him a free pass either

always had a high opinion of Agon thats what makes this so glaring
he's getting paid what 20+ million next year and he doesn't think he should maybe make his health a priority for next year?
things are starting to break down for him and he's going to play amateur ball for mexico?
really i always thought he was a great team mate and admire the hell out of the way he prepares and his professionalism
it would seem a guy like that would have to be drug out of LA by a team of wild horses before missing a WS game
especially the first WS he has ever been a part of
not going to condemn him or anything but i would really like to know why he isn't supporting his team
of course no one knows for sure but it sure looks like a butt hurt move to me

You just say you know the guy as a stand up dude since forever but you get one report which may or may not be true and most likely is out of context and you flip on the guy?

    You are pissed off?
The day before the Dodgers first WS game and you are not giddy?
Honestly I think what the guy was trying to say with let it go is that its party time right now.
Adrian being in Italy really offends you this much?

We dont know why he is up there and until we do...
