    October - .880 OPS
That's over almost 30 career post season games for Joc.

I'd prefer to keep Puig at this point, just to see if Machado can pick him up and make him more reliable day to day. Although, charging Machado with that task is a little unfair.
I just think the optimal time to trade Puig has passed. They shopped him this past offseason and couldn't get any bites, even after his comeback season last year.
Weirdly, the best time to move Puig may have been when they publicly put him on the trade block/demoted him to OKC that one time. Seems to be sell low or no sale guy.
Joc, I could see netting a Steven Souza-type of package [no homo], a couple Top 30 arms from somebody's farm and a maybe a couple more kids as well.
Both Joc and Souza are due for UFA in 2021, similar careers thus far.
Not that I want Fat Joc traded, his .880 OPS in October shouldn't just be discarded, not for a team that plans to play in October a lot.
That compared to Puig's .750ish career OPS in OCT

Jeurys Familia is apparently on his way out from the Mets. It was rumored to be a deal with the A’s, but now they’re saying they’re just one of the teams involved,l and may not be the leader. Cubs, Astros, Braves and Red Sox are all out. Mets have said that they’re willing to eat part of his contract for better prospects. Giants are said to be interested and I would guess the Dodgers would be too.

Hard to say this early if it was just lip service but he seems to be genuinely happy to be with the Dodgers and really likes the vibe in the room so far. Hopefully, when he gets to hang in the palatial clubhouse at DS he'll be even more blown away.

Thanks for the break down it's helpful but the names being thrown around in the trade scenarios have big money attached to them which you saw in my post was a little frustrating. Nobody is going to take those salaries like Logans or Joc IMHO.

    that's awesome
my best cash out was on the first holyfield/tyson fight
i seem to recall the only sports guy to pick holyfield was ron borges of the boston globe
the line started off somewhere absurd like 22-1 tyson
i laid $200 down when it was 12-1
needless to say i was pretty happy with the outcome

    • The Dodgers had a scout watching the Miami Marlins play the Tampa Bay Rays on Friday; available relievers could include Kyle Barraclough, Adam Conley and Drew Steckenrider from Miami and Ryne Stanek, Jose Alvarado and Sergio Romo from Tampa Bay.

    • Jon Heyman says the Dodgers are one of the teams showing continued interest in Zach Britton, though the sweepstakes may not reach a resolution until closer to the trade deadline.

Kings are 15-1 to win the Cup in 2012 was my shining moment. Gutless fuck that I was, only put down $50.

Slapsie Maxie should do it...sell high. Choke's got beaucoup bucks, man.
He can get it back next year when Machado goes to the Giants or AZ.
