    is it just me, or is anyone else concerned about our #1 and #2 starters getting shelled heading into the season?
    that’s the one area we don’t have a lot of depth

    but our staff had good luck “fixing” guys like morrow, nelson and floro
    • The Dodgers are signing reliever Dellin Betances to a minor league contract, reports Ken Rosenthal of the Athletic (Twitter link). He’d lock in a $2.75MM base salary if he makes the major league roster, with an additional $500K available in incentives, reports Joel Sherman of the New York Post (on Twitter).

    You know, “super teams” have a knack for not fulfilling expectations. See this year’s Lakers, the Howard/Nash Lakers, the Malone/Payton/Shaq/Kobe Lakers, the Eagles of ten years ago…and I wouldn’t exactly feel confident that success will come naturally to this one. Baseball is incredibly fickle especially over a very long season.

    Cody is the biggest problem in the lineup as he’s been consistently awful. Mookie is worrying me too as he was injured and did not play well last season. JT is getting old.

    But our SP doesn’t look that impressive in terms of the projected lineup, and the pitching overall has been mediocre this ST.

    I kinda see this team as a second half team, like they almost always are and have been for the past 40 years or so. First 20 games will give us a clue.

    • Kevin Pillar would be a big leaguer to start the year in almost every other organization, but he wanted to be a Dodger so badly that he agreed to start the season in AAA Oklahoma City.

    My boss lives in the Atlanta area. He was excited to get Jansen. I felt it would be heartless of me to tell him the truth about the guy.

    He probably knows now.

    The rest of the country will finally understand that Kenley is no longer a strong reliever (and hasn't been in 3+ years) and he never has a clean inning.

    I've always said I'm just trying to find a girl who will show me the same loyalty that Dave Roberts showed Kenley Jansen lol

    I saw a guy had a 7 leg parlay and all he needed was Braves -1.5 to win about 80K and Kenley blew it for him.

    Kenley keeps making more fans...
