They aren't gonna win anything. Out west, Okc, Spurs, and Clippers would beat them in a best of 7. That doesn't mean they aren't talented. Bron's choices were either Cavs or Heat. He chose Cavs.

okay, then why is it self-serving if he's choosing a team with talent on that can't win?
    what's the benefit?

Because his choices were basically Cleveland or Miami. Both of which aren't gonna win anything, and as a pr move, he chose the cavs. He would have bolted to the Clippers or Spurs if they had the cap space.

And would you look at that ... he only signed a 2 year deal with a player option in the 2nd year. Now I want you or any other dsp peeps to tell me that he gives a fuck about ohio and about finishing his career there.

He loves ohio and wants to finish his career there.

Pretty smart deal as tv contracts will end in two years and there will most likely be a lockout.

I don't understand why people get on him for going to a different team with talent. It's a business. Why would he want to go somewhere to lose? That's the thing I hate about the NBA. People forget that it's a business and that it's a team sport. Not to mention that Bennett tanked last year and Wiggins hasn't played in a NBA game. Also, going back to what C2thab said, Bron isn't getting into trouble like a ton of these other idiot athletes, he doesn't seem like an asshole, and is an inspiration to people.

I just don't really get how people can sit at home and just hate someone for the most retarded reasons... unless it's Shane Victorino of course.

I think that if you hate him you hate home no matter what.

Like I said, basketball players are scrutinized to a crazy degree over any other sports star.

I just like to sit back and watch the reactions.

Some people act like he fucked their girlfriend raw dog with some of the hate that goes his way.

    Kinda funny.

Isn't that the goal? Winning rings? I guess kevin love is a ring chaser too since he's now considering Cleveland as a possible new home. Lebron didn't ride anyone's coattails in Miami to two titles, he led them. That cleveland team loaded with young talent won 33 games last year and have played themselves into 3 of the last 4 #1 picks, they've just been lucky enough to win the draft lottery. And as "luck" would have it they would have to trade two of those #1 picks to get the new ring chasing whore love.

You know that for a fact right? Or youre just assuming because you don't like him? Maybe he should have signed a long term deal and handcuffed the franchise so he could get paid. Him signing that contract gives him and the team options for the future. He's not gonna win a title there in two years and that was his reason for leaving according to him. It's gonna take longer than two years. Like I mentioned before.....if he doesn't finish his career in Cleveland I'll be the first to agree with everything you've said and eat well deserved crow because I myself will lose all respect for him as well.

Today, after 17 years, I had to put my dog down. Hardest thing I've ever done. She was really bad and it was just time. But still man, haven't cried in years and today the water works came out

    My condolences
I can't imagine man. My dog suffered a leg injury where he couldn't walk on his hind leg and at the vet I could barely stand. My legs were weak because I saw the pain in my dog atm. Even looking back it's hard to think about

Dogs are truly amazing animals man. So much loyalty love and compassion. Sorry for your loss:(

thats a really long life for a dog bro. never a good day when you have to bury a good friend. still thats what those of us that love animals are faced with. i have three right now and these are my pack. two aren't looking great atm. i've had dogs all my life and i insist on bringing them home and burying them near me. i cry as i dig and the family mourns them and its dark and sad.
just remember the unconditional love your buddy gave you and go rescue one asap. even though our life cycles don't line up i can't imagine what my life would be like without all those good friends. and they need us too.

Sorry for your troubles...dogs are a gift from the Great Spirit, and their loyalty and dependence on us is a priceless thread that runs through their nature.
The only thing wrong with dogs is that they are not around long enough.
I don't know your situation Chris, but there are millions of dogs out there you can give a good life to waiting in shelters. Honor your buddy by adopting another...

    my condolences chris
i had a chow-chow, razor, that literally cheated death several times
beat cancer, vets said he would never make it past 5 (years)
diagnosed with a bone disease at 8, vets said he would die in a couple years
and various other things the vets (and there were more than one) said he'd never get past
    he lived to be 22
when we had to put him down, my dad went with me
we held onto razor as the vet injected him
i was fine -- actually convinced myself we were doing the right thing for him (which we were) -- until my dad said goodbye to him
my dad said, "see you in paradise"
    i don't think i've ever cried harder
    couldn't stop
to me, dogs and cats are more than pets, more than friends... they become family
i don't understand people who don't like animals, and i'll fight anyone (no blf) i see abusing them
    condolences again chris
