i've never liked Vonleh that much. i actually like what the Hornets have done. Batum and now Lamb..they have some length on the perimeter with MKG defensively as well. Lamb has more upside than Henderson.

gotta see the framework before i celebrate anything. if Cousins is now pushing to get to the Lakers and he has his way i think BFF Rondo will make his way to LAL as well. BScott will have his work cut out for him.

Boogie's skill level is ridiculous tho. he's almost like a 270lbs Anthony Davis

Kobe, Rondo, and Boogie is like the all-nba most hated team. Lol

I'd like to see how three douches mesh. could work well with similar personalities, or just be a huge disaster.

I think I'm leaning slightly towards "fuck Cousins" and just keep the pick and build the young core. I loveeee Cousins, but I don't think what we'd need to pay will be worth it.

Okafor or Russell, either way I'm hella excited.

I got into basketball late (like Shaq first joining the Heat), so correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Shaq a bit of a head case before/with the Lakers? That worked out just fine.

Cousins obviously isn't Shaq, but a dominant big that puts up a ton of points and rebounds makes them at least similar.

    I'd take Cousins.

You're giving up a lot, but it's two untested rookies for arguably the best center in the league. He's 24, and he's a very friendly deal isn't he?

Minimally, the Lakers have no intention of including Randle in a deal for Cousins, league sources told Yahoo Sports. Randle, a power forward, was the seventh overall pick in the 2014 NBA draft and missed most of his rookie season after leg surgery. The Lakers are reluctant to part with Clarkson too, sources said.

The Lakers are eager to make a deal for Cousins before Thursday night's draft, but if no agreement is in place, Los Angeles will continue to decide between Duke center Jahlil Okafor and Ohio State guard D'Angelo Russell, sources said.

Sacramento owner Vivek Ranadive has been unwilling to discuss a deal to send Cousins to Denver, where Sacramento's former coach, Michael Malone, and former general manager, Pete D'Alessandro, have been recently hired, sources said. Denver has had interest in a three-way deal that would land Cousins with the Lakers and possibly deliver the Kings several players – including point guard Ty Lawson – who Karl has expressed a desire to be reunited with in Sacramento, sources said.

    possibly..

Lakers send - #2 pick, Jordan Hill, #27 pick, Nick Young, #34 pick
    Lakers receive - D.Cousins

SAC sends - D.Cousins, Carl Landry
SAC receives - Ty Lawson, Kenneth Faried, #34 pick

DEN sends - Ty Lawson, Kenneth Faried
DEN receives - #2 pick, Jordan Hill, Nick Young, Carl Landry, #27 pick

Denver gets an extra 1st round pick for taking on Young's/Landry's contracts..everybody walks away happy.

    http://espn.go.com/nba/story/_/id/1...ward-lamarcus-aldridge-leave-team-free-agency

Sources: LaMarcus Aldridge expected to leave Blazers in free agency
    20m - NBA LAMARCUS ALDRIDGE

On the list of teams Aldridge will consider signing with are the San Antonio Spurs, Los Angeles Lakers,New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks and Atlanta Hawks, sources said. Aldridge is actually thinking more and more about a free-agent jump to the Lakers, sources told Stein this week.

The Lakers, sources added to Stein, firmly believe they now will be in the Aldridge hunt. As ESPN.com first reported ‎Monday, Lakers officials also continue to try to press the Sacramento Kings to trade them All-Star center DeMarcus Cousins.

The Spurs, sources say, continue to be Aldridge's most likely destination.

"He has tons of respect for coach [Gregg] Popovich," one source told Broussard. "And he thinks highly of their organization and front office."

The Spurs will have to be creative with their salary structure to offer Aldridge a max deal beginning at $18.8 million while retaining stars Tim Duncan and Manu Ginobili.

i mean if you get a commitment from Aldridge do you even trade the pick for Boogie? it'd be nice if they could get a draft pick back in the Boogie trade. if they go Aldridge/Boogie up front, they might as well put Randle in the Boogie trade to get the #6 pick and use it on Winslow. Lakers draft Porzingis and trade him to the Kings

OK so the Thunder came to their senses..will not trade Lamb for Barnes. Barnes instead goes to Memphis..which is a great fit.

Sign LA, trade the #2 to someone in the top 5 that wants JO, get something in return, draft Russell and call it a day.

I wonder if this means the Lakers got a commitment from one of the free agent bigs? Everything I heard was Okafor until today.

Sorry Boogie Cousins fans but it's been reported the Kings owner is considering firing George Karl because of his public stance on trading Cousins, lol.
