I know we have Seager, Turner, Lux, and Muncy locked into the IF, but damn it would be nice to have another RH bat like Rendon in there next season. Maybe if the NL gets the DH it will open up some possibilities.
is that something you're hoping for? i guess its a foregone conclusion according to all baseball people hunkering down w the dogs for the night
No, I prefer the NL without the DH. But, like you said, it is imminent. So might we well take advantage. The Dodgers seem like a team that could really benefit.
The thing about Joe Davis (and it isn't really his fault) is he hasn't been around the team long enough to put anything into proper context. Sure, he is well-researched and the statistician can tap on his shoulder and give him some trivia, but Vin could see a play and relate it to a moment in time 40 years ago (and go into fascinating tangents). All Joe does is relate every damn moment to "2017". A loge level home run is extremely rare, and as a fan of the team the last time I remember it happening was Olmedo Saenz.
I' ve watched thousands of baseball games in my life, and I never have I seen a warning on a fucking balk. You either did or you didn't. I call bullshit.
That there is a grown ass man and a man who has grown so much over the past year. A young Cody would have been so upset with that outside pitch that he would pout. Bravo Cody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I agree that there is no excuse for a warning. If somebody violates a rule they should be called on it. What I am saying is that there should be no balk rule, except for extreme circumstances where the pitcher is deceiving the base runner and batter in a way that creates an unfair advantage.
