I'm glad Robots made that pitching change.
I had the right idea in refusing to watch this dogshit.
I'm two weeks into my pussout. That ends now.
Fuck this league, this pro game, and this whole process. I will watch CYO before I watch MB again. What bullshit.
You don't want to watch Kike and Austin? And you would miss Cody and Joc swinging like they're playing cricket? Or some other sport?
And you'd miss Joey Lucchesi pitch the game of his career?
Barnes is probably the only regular on the team who is simply not capable of doing anything. He is so incredibly weak and incompetent.
kiké isn't far behind
in fact, if kiké didn't have pop he'd be barnes
well, that and the pr/white thing
Bat flip on a bloop single. Kike desperate to stay relevant
i remember when turner was actually good
Turner is still really good and should put up close to a 5 WAR this season. But he is far from the most trusted crunch time hitter he has been the past few seasons.
I'm so glad Kenley did not make the All Star team like Dodger radio hosts suggested he should be. He isnt even a top 30 reliever in my opinion.
Replace the names Kike, Taylor (granted, CT3 has been pretty good), Rios, Beaty, Barnes, and Stripling with Seager, Freese, Pollock, Smith, Lux, and Hill...big difference.
Just a demoralizing week though.
Rios is a joke.
Limping into the All Star break I see.
way to fight back [sarcasm]
losing 3/4 to the padres in inexcusable
obp and slugging way down
seems to strike out at lot more in key situations
Maybe his long trips to the disabled list before were blessings in disguise in keeping him fresh
he's a notorious slow starter
but that was primarily with his power
hopefully you're right
I mean, a few days ago I looked at his numbers for a second and he had a .385 OBP on the season with a .900+ OPS over a 53 game period. Was hitting .310, too.
Then he went 2 for 15 with a lot of Ks.
I think he is/will be fine.
With his mechanics, a lot of it has to do with timing.
We definitely need him to be his clutch self down the stretch.
hope you're right
the swings looked tired and they needed a break just thought maybe they'd put up an effort
after last night i pretty much figured they'd be mailing it in today
guess its to be expected at some point but those lineups don't help either
Separate names with a comma.
