His FIP from April and May said otherwise. Either way I'm just giving you a hard time haha.

    @DodgersNation: #Dodgers lineup vs Gonzalez:
    CF Pederson
    2B Kendrick
    1B Gonzalez
    C Grandal
    LF Ethier
    RF Puig
    SS Rollins
    3B Callaspo
    P Greinke

Puig is struggling no doubt so him moving down til he gets hot, wtv.

The thing that is so weird to me is how Mattingly only moves him down this quickly. It took forever for him to move Rollins. He leaves Kendrick/Adrian in the middle even through a slump. Joc is slumping too and hitting 1st. He's done it before with Crawford, Kemp, and Ethier. Idk which way is right or wrong, I could see a case for either way, just seems strange to me that's all.

Also shows how cool the lineup is that it's not crazy at the moment to have Puig 6th, but would like him to eventually go 1 or 2 (I would also prefer Joc hitting not 1st cause although his OBP is great there, his power is wasted)

Gives me a headache to try and figure DBB's thinking on line-ups. MLB network just showed Yasiel taking BP with Mark McGuire which is a good sign.

    it's not that
just trying to figure out why mattingly moved only him down so quickly as doyer alluded
rollins sucked forever and he kept him in the 2-spot far too long
gave him a lot more rope than he gave puig
again, it was just a guess -- and trying to figure out what mattingly might be thinking at any given time is (to put it nicely) a crapshoot
the only thing i know is that puig is (reported to have) had clubhouse issues [with turner], and is known to show up late
doughty mentioned that mlb network showed puig working with mcgwire
that is definitely a step in the right direction
i don't hate puig, but i do wonder about his work ethic, commitment and attitude
i just don't want him to turn into raul mondesi, a guy with similar tools and (again reportedly) similar temperament

If anything I think it was just the veteran courtesy given to J roll to see if he can figure it out. I get that but it took too long.

Is this the same Gonzalez guy from Cuba that the Dodgers passed on when they were the favorites to sign him and he went and signed with PHI a few years ago???

Alex is a right handed hitter, I know it's hard to remember he plays so sparingly.

    I don't think it's that, Irish.
He's in a terrible slump, and you just can't leave him at the top..doesn't matter what he did with Rollins.
Can't figure out DBB anyway...why bother?
What is so amazing to me is that he (Puig) doesn't look as he even has the power to reach the stands. The best shot was the fly ball that he got a double on that should have been caught the other night.
Oh, I also feel that Joc needs NOT to be hitting leadoff
Troubling...maybe the AS break will serve both well.
