It's BOTH sides buddy. Both have active, highly paid disinformation teams at the ready beck and call of party 'leaders' for 'whatever' truth needs spun, twisted, lied about and presented next.

As far as Kavanaugh goes, he's bringing it upon himself by refusing to answer 70% of the questions asked. WTF?? The GOP has been all in on 'helping' him fuck Americans by withholding 100,000 pages of his legal opinions!! WTF is that all about? Then they released 40,000 redacted pages only the night before the hearings? WTF???

Who is hiding what here? Where are the entire 100,000 pages of legal decisions? What written opinions are SO bad that they 'need' hidden? From whom? Why?? A federal judge's opinions should be public. Even if, especially if, he opines on sitting US President's having no culpability for anything he says or does.

I'm fine with most things stated in the article, but this duplitious coverup shit is everywhere. And clearly the GOP's obstructive tactics are too.

So why is the GOP foisting a judge known to be so bad that 60,000 + pages of legal opinions need hidden? What sort of craven thieves would WANT to do such a thing? And then withholding evidence as their open gambit? What Fairness? What justice? What democracy?

Now if ancient crooked white Feinstein weren't doing her gawd damnedest to be GOP Lite then there might be something to be said for the left. All my lefty friends whine "but the GOP does it" as if that makes it OK to lie/cheat/steal and behave just as badly as the GOP.

    And the cycle begins anew...

    Go vote, make a difference.
Oh wait... there is no difference.
    It's all just casting stones.

He will still have a good life.
Why would this lady lie about this?
Unless you want to point to a conspiracy.
But maybe it's just a case of mistaken identity.

theres a lot of reasons why she would lie but i'm not even saying that
i think something probably happened to her 36 years ago
    no one supports her story
my issue is why feinstein sat on it as a last shot should they not be able to discredit
    it was dirty
and listening to all these fucking democrats impugn his life is bullshit

Listening live to the hearings on Yahoo...
Feinstein is scum. Her record of gaining graft and giving no-bid deals to her husband and his firm is beyond question. She is the most corrupt GOP related Democrat in DC and her lack of ethics just got called. And it didn't matter. None of these DC thieves will call each other on being corrupt, they merely point fingers at the other side while throwing rocks from the balcony of their own glass house.

"Dirty" is hiding 100,000 public records and lying under oath.

Not for a moment do I suspect that the Dem's are doing anything worse than was done by the GOP to Merrick Garland for no reason other than 'they' held power at that time. Disgusting. All of the above.

Oh wait I've got it.. give up on the entire voting process...

... and then stand on the sidelines in the democracy that serves you bkitching about the results you refused to be part of.

    Hypocrite much??

@rube, since you're going on record yet again supporting the silence of not voting at all, then we are clear that your posts complaining about politics are worth exactly the (lack) of $0.02 that you refuse to exercise.

Not voting = Shutting the fuck up. Are we clear about that yet? Got someone else to convince of the folly of your head-in-the-sand viewpoints??

We'll chat on other threads on topics where you appear to care.

How does the democracy serve me?
I am not a member of a democracy.
    I am a member of a republic.
    Democracy is like socialism.
    It's never worked.
Democrcy is filled by people who tell others that they don't matter.
Btw I'm not bitchin about any results.
    Trump won. I didn't bitch.
Only bitches are those who want to get rid of the standing president because they took Hillary losing personally like emotion worshippers that they are and cant get over it/themselves.
Hey aren't you always bitching about Trump?
But in your eyes you have a right to be a bitch because you voted.
    Entitled much?
That is what happens to statists.
They can hate everything about what they are doing but will keep doing it and doing it and doing it.
Like mindless zombie drones addicted to the dopamine rush of emotional dependency aka religious CULT of personality.

My conscience has not let me vote lately.
I think my las vote was for some libertarian or indy candidate a long time ago.
This time there was absolutely no choice between Hillary and Trump.

Voting is very important. As always you have a warped imagination of my views.
We should follow our conscience not who we think will win.
We should not even vote for what is in our own best interest on a personal level.
People should know the issues and candidates before they vote.
People that have no time for that should not vote.
People who can't read should not vote.
    Recent immigrants should not vote.
Lots of folks are not qualified to vote.
Yet we disqualify many who are.

The EC is the only thing protecting us from the anarchy of mob rule which is democracy.
Both parties are sides of the same coin... the sun.
    Sun means togetherness in greek.
Usually spelled syn but also sun.
And when spelled sun the syn means togetherness in emotion. In feels.
Sun worship is the need for everyone to feel the same way over something that has been overemotionalized precisely to trigger the reaction of the mass.
This is the origins of religion.
And why God comes to destroy religion.
Because they say in god we trust.
And you are part of the batter that makes the matza that is the mass of sun worshippers in the idolatrous polytheist religion of statism.
Because statism was the first ever religion and the only reason religion exists.
It is the whip that keeps you in check.
And the whip u use to attack the ones you want to silence.

But sun isnt sun in Greek. It's Helios.
And sun is Sol in Latin. So...lo. Is it together, or separate?

Maybe it's more like one of those D&D 16 sided dice.

But I do know democracy always degrades into useful idiots parroting the demagoguery of their masters. We've definitely reached that point.

You must apply metaphysics to language and if that fails apply shaolin.

Helios is not the sun but the name of the energy of the sun. Its Oz/As or El/Il.
You can say that Helios means Lord or God Sunpower in idea.
But not literally. Literally it means Gelled or Melted in the way of Lava or Ice slurry.
The power of the sun being the ability to make things melt and meltig or gelling is what it is. The great melter.
Like triggered emotion melts your ability to reason.
And what both mean is the synergy of emotion and power.
    Or church and state.

The y is like the u.
We say dynamic they say dunamis.
Both mean the same thing. Powerfully synergistic. You bring others to you and they become part of you. Their ideas and culture gets boiled down in the crucible that is the melting pot.

What is more dynamic materially than the sun?
What is more dynamic spiritually than the emotional spectrum?

    You brought up latin.
    It's not so-lo.
    It's just sol.
    Like solution or solve.
The melting of things into one.
    Solids melted into a liquid.
A sol is actually a unit of measure in time and space.
The sol name comes after after the power aka phenomena that is the synodic cycle of time and space it takes a planet orbiting its corresponding prime mover.
Which we assume is the sun because the synod and the synanogue sold their soul for rocks and gold.
Their debased sun worship is all about melting.
Like their sun god Melcom/Moloch who they melted babies on as a holocaust.
It is what is left when there is no right left.
The setting sun in the west.
The end called the singularity is the goal of the left who worship at the cult of emotional manipulators that can gel a population into a glue of popular synergy that creates masses of power that we call political bases.

    There is another side.
    The sidereal.

    Wu Tang!

Was going to reply to @rube, and may still, but I wanted to chime in on this point. YES, it appears by all signs that we have reached critical non-functioning mass and 'some' sort of shit is going to go down. But (all of) DC remains focused on fleecing us at the greatest possible rate and passing the debt to our kids.

Regardless of how much I may or may not agree with any given stanza, dude you have a talent to smith a word like few others.

Ever thought of becoming a writer?
I'd be somewhat concerned about what YOU might write in long form.. but

Yup. Of course I also led the charge to hang Hillary by whatever means available.
You bet I am.. for my whole damned $0.02 worth. Skip the process = sit quietly on the sidelines. And I also agree with..
and THIS above I take, once again, to be your 'views' on this position. We agree then that if educated voting is too much bother then don't vote. And sit quietly as a spectator while the participants struggle to wield the crooked levors of democracy. It's all good.
Yep we agree again.. except the morons signing up anyone they can in front of grocery stores by stressing them with emotional barrages. We agree that these 'sheep' are the wrong type of voters

My brother has lobbied for decades for a poll test. If you can't pass 8 of 10 basic civics Q's then try again next time.
It will never happen. Too racist. Too classist. Too oppressive.
Like requiring ID at a poll is unreasonable.. oooops about to rant

@rube's philosophical prose requires that we share campfire smoke at some point in our lives.

Don't know why (okay mebbe I do, #primeval) but our discourse is thus far constrained by what I'm willing to type... and I'm a long winded bastard but @rube likes to tickle deep

Sen. Daines will be walking his daughter down the aisle at the time of the vote. G-zus. Great moment for Daines and his family but this is damn unfortunate.

Democrats and msm deserve to see Kavanaugh get confirmed, GOP keep majority in midterms, rbg die and replaced by Amy cohen Barrett.

That would lead to involuntary inpatient psychiatric care for most of the media, late night TV hosts, and washed up 80s and 90s child star actresses.
