Obama's golf outing with Tiger cost taxpayers nearly $4 million
by Ryan Ballengee | Yahoo Sports — 3 hours ago

Tiger Woods and President Barack Obama played golf together in a February 2013 mini-jaunt, and that trip turned out to cost the U.S. taxpayer a lot of money.

Filings from the Government Accountability Office (GAO) showed that the four-day trip to Florida, where Woods lives, came at a combined cost of $3.6 million to the Department of Defense and the Department of Homeland Security. The Washington Times first reported on the filing.

So how did that trip cost so much?

According to the Times, the bulk of the cost came from 22 total flight legs flown by six military transport planes involving 14 different commercial airports, as well the actual operation of Air Force One, which costs approximately $200,000 per hour of flight. The breakout of the total cost was $2.8 million billed to Defense and $767,000 to Homeland Security.

Obama not only played with Woods as part of the trip, he also got some golf lessons from Butch Harmon and his son and renowned instructor Claude Harmon III. The Commander-in-Chief also played a few other rounds of golf — now having logged more than 300 while in office — outside of the time with Woods on the links.

Woods wasn’t the only presidential playing partner on the trip, either. Houston Astros owner Jim Crane, U.S. trade representative Ron Kirk and fundraiser Tony Chase joined Obama, too.

You are reading putting your slant on the comment instead of just reading it like it was written. He said she thinks she is the center of the universe and is above it all but Trump is the same damn way. Not sure what brought the rest of your post other than hatred of Hillary which is understandable but damn. I have already learned to ignore Trump. Carry on BZ.

You're still right after 7 years, Mr. Voight. If Hillary gets in it'll be more of the same.

As usual, I have no idea what you are talking about, but that is status quo.
The statement was never written, it was spoken only. And what I got out of it is exactly what he said and meant.
He totally never wrote nor said anything remotely like what you wrote. Not a "slant". Lol.
    Get a grip....

BZ, wrote or said what does it matter.

"because the country is full of people like her who think they are at the center of it, but will claim no responsibility for it".

That doesn't in describe Trump as well? I must be missing something. Leave it to you to make a personal attack. "When they go low, we go high"

Sorry brother but businessmen aren't exactly completely honest. You can't get that successful without your own skeletons.

i wasn't saying that but a rich career politician never ran a business or did anything legitimate to earn it
business, especially at Trumps level requires a certain shrewdness and skirting of the truth at times its part of the game
she otoh is a public servant her entire life, big difference

It's odd that so many Hillary supporters, if you make a statement about her corruption and criminal activity, they feel that coming back with a Trump statement "evens" everything out...sad.
They think what she has been doing for decades is on the same level...they just won't accept her crimes...and they can't hear about all her activities without some kind of Trump bashing...as if people give a flying fuck about him.

It matters, because one is made up, like your "slant" slant, and one is correct. Wait! Is that another "personal attack"? I guess you mean the "I don't know what you are talking about" I wrote? ...I very seldom do get you at all. Not at all.
Sorry, if that is an "attack" to you. Lol..I mean really, man.
It was also about those who support her blindly, no matter what she has done, disregarding how many times she has done it to the American people, and just maintain appearing ignorant of it, and smugly look the other way on it all.
And before you come back with a big anti Trump barrage, I don't give a fuck if he explodes on stage.
It's wasted on someone like me who laughs at him.

^What did I make up? Finally we can agree we have no good choice!!! The rest of the post I'll just say I don't support her blindly but I don't expect you to get me so carry on.

PS We are nearly the same age and yet diametrically opposing views it seems, what a country!

Mmmmm..I don't think we are the same age at all. Not that it matters that much.
You respond to a post I make, and tell me what it means, like as if I can't get the proper meaning out of it without your take? I slanted it?
You presume an awful lot, then come back with that I attacked you when I tell you the truth as I see it.
You're right...I won't get you...just like I didn't get the " dancing like nobody is watching when Hillary is elected POTUS"...and you don't support her blindly?
OK. Right. Just sounds really like you do.
And apropos that, I can't remember when you didn't react extremely pro Hillary when someone put her down. If you feel no support for either candidate, than why the upcoming dance declaration when she wins and the predictable salvos from you aimed the other way? It's like Newton's Law of action/reaction.
That's why I don't get you at all.

I'm hurt BZ. Of course I defend Hillary but it's not a rampant as you characterize and I don't give a shit even if it was because the alternative is heinous. The fact you seem to ignore is that I have said repeatedly she is the lesser of 2 evils or that I have said she has her issues speaks volumes to me. Let's just agree to disagree and I'll stop quoting you and all will be right with DSP world.

I took the quote saying you don't get me as personal if that is a distortion then I apologize. I don't however apologize for voting for her because not doing that is a de facto vote for Orange Hitler. I won't be dancing because if she wins because unless 1 of either the House or Senate is back in Democratic control it'll be more of the same obstructionism.

Don't think you should apologize for voting for her, Doughty..:not at all. That is your right. Not suggesting that.
If the things Hillary has done, and is being investigated for, (and probably will be while she is president, too), all her corrupt life, has not reached to the "rampant" level for you, then this is exactly what I mean about her supporters...they don't care what she's done. It just doesn't matter to them. God knows what level it is at though. "Almost rampant", then?
And when all this chicanery gets examined more closely, like Benghazi, the foundation, the emails, violations of the espionage act, pay for play, etc., etc., etc., there will be no guilt, no responsibility admitted or taken...take that to the bank.
