<oh poor sad Hillary really does mean it when she 'apologizes' .. chuckles>

Hillary Clinton is the first and only woman to have given a big US presidential concession speech—and she is the first and only candidate to say “I’m sorry.”

Trust a woman to do that. Research finds that women apologize more than men, likely because people are faster to judge women for their behavior. Clinton has since acknowledged time and again her own responsibility for losing the 2016 US presidential election. Months later, apologies continue to abound in her new book about the campaign, What Happened.

Nevertheless, many appear deaf to her words of acknowledgement: From political analysts to president Trump himself, the rumor has taken hold that Hillary Clinton blames everyone but herself.

With her book launch, that false narrative has taken center stage, propelled by critics who seem outraged that Clinton thinks her electoral college defeat can be explained by factors in addition to herself. Clinton “seeks to exonerate herself,” her book is a “long list of who Hillary Clinton blames,” and she is wasting an opportunity to go away and, therefore, be missed, they claim.

Perhaps they have not read the book. Hillary Clinton blames herself at least 35 times in What Happened. She apologizes for her mistakes, she apologizes for not apologizing, she even reports past apologies for mistakes she’d made before becoming the Democratic party candidate.

To clear up any doubt, we’ve listed each of those apologies below—perhaps reading them in sequence will quench the thirst for female contrition.

    • When they said they had no further questions and thanked me, I apologized to them all, saying that I was sorry they’d had to spend so much time on this matter.
    • I said how sorry I was and that I understood why people were angry. <saying it and understanding it being different>
    • I then called President Obama. “I’m sorry for letting you down,” I told him. <imagine groveling to him>
    • I regret handing Trump a political gift with my “deplorables” comments. […] I am sorry about that.
    • I’ve made mistakes, been defensive about them, stubbornly resisted apologizing.
    • I made a mistake with my emails. I apologized, I explained, I explained, and apologized some more. <still HUGE mistake, explaining is irrelevant>
    • I felt absolutely sick about the whole thing. I clarified and apologized and pointed to my detailed plan to invest in coal communities. But the damage was done. <they had seen through you>
    • A few weeks after my “gaffe” I went to Appalachia to apologize directly to people I had offended. <they were no longer interested>
    • I blamed myself. My worst fears about my limitations as a candidate had come true. […] I had been unable to connect with the deep anger so many Americans felt.
    • It’s fair to say there was a fundamental mismatch between how I approach politics and what a lot of the country wanted to hear in 2016.
    • It seems as if many Trump voters were actually voting against memore than they were voting for him.
    • I go back over my shortcomings and the mistakes we made. I take responsibility for all of them. You can blame the data, blame the message, blame anything you want—but I was the candidate. It was my campaign. Those were my decisions.
    • “Could the campaign have been better?” Christiane Amanpour asked me. “Where was your message? Do you take any personal responsibility?” “I take absolute personal responsibility,” I replied.
    • I was the candidate, I was the person on the ballot.
    • Many in the political media don’t want to hear about how these things tipped the election in the final days. They say their beef is that I am not taking responsibility for my mistakes—but I have, and I do again throughout this book.
    • None of the factors I discussed here lessen the responsibility I feel or the aching sense that I let everyone down.
    • I have tried to learn from my own mistakes. There are plenty, as you’ll see in this book, and they are mine and mine alone.
    • Every day that I was candidate for President, I knew that millions of people were counting on me, and I couldn’t bear the idea of letting them down. But I did. I couldn’t get the job done, and I’ll have to live with that for the rest of my life.
    • At every step, I felt that I had let everyone down.
    • I felt like I had been fighting for her and millions like her my entire career. And I had let them down.
    • I run through the tape over and over, identifying every mistake—especially those made by me.
    • That was a mistake […<taking Wall St. $$$?>] I shouldn’t have assumed it would be OK for me to do it. Especially after the financial crisis of 2008-2009 I should have realized it would be bad “optics” and stayed away from it. I didn’t. That’s on me. <I'm just THAT greedy>
    • This is one of the mistakes I made you’ll read about in this book. I have tried to give an honest accounting of when I got it wrong, where I fell short, and what I wish I could go back and do differently. […] My mistakes burn me up inside.
    • It was a mistake to have a personal account. I would certainly not do it again. I make no excuse for it. <yep. that. A bit late but Yep America told you>
    • Another example where I remained polite, albeit exasperated, and played the political game as it used to be, not as it had become. That was a mistake.
    • During the campaign, I tried endlessly to explain that I’d acted in good faith. I tried to apologize […] No matter what, I never found the right words. So let me try again: It was a dumb mistake.
    • Given my inability to explain this mess, I decided to let other voices tell the story this time.
    • I listened carefully, determined that if I did jump in the race, I would have to avoid the mistakes that had dogged me the last time.
    • In the end, we decided it would be better to just let it go and try to move on. Looking back, that was a mistake.
    • Sometimes it just comes out wrong. It wasn’t the first time that happened during the 2016 election, and it wouldn’t be the last. But it is the one I regret the most.
    • Or maybe I was the wrong messenger. <duh.. do you think?>
    • “Well, Dad, what if I lose an election I should have won and let an unqualified bully become President of the United States?”
    • I should have seen that coming.
    • He told me he had followed his doctor’s orders and stayed home for a week. Looking back, I should have done the same.
    • Now I wish I had pushed back hard. <as he thrust.. she never said>
    • Right there and then, I should have known there would never be some magical words to prove how silly it was and make it go away.
    • Slowly working through why I lost, what could I have done better.
    • I wish more than anything that I could have done a better jobspeaking to their fears and frustration. […] I wish I could have found the words or emotional connection.

Some of these are just gems and I'm sure she's learned a lot. Maybe. More likely Not.

Either way the article's defensive pro HRC slant is bullshit, voters were "punishing Hillary for 'female contrition' ? Come on now kiss my ass. "Female Contrition" like 'that' were such a thing.

I've voted for females.. just not EVER going to be 'that' bkitch

Imo, a vast majority of those passages, only can come from a monumental ego, and a person who feels he/she is destined to be the ruler/ monarch.
Even the apology is mad power driven...
"I'm sorry I didn't get to be your messiah".
Coulda' been a contenda', Hill...but just wound up a multi millionairess (probably a billionairess), and an author, instead.
No shot outdoors in a ballpark.
    And definitely no class.
    Poor Hill.

how about apologizing to those families you lied to about benghazi?
or to the country for compromising the nation's security by using your personal email to transmit confidential emails?
or to the people of new york for becoming a carpetbagging senator?
or to the dnc (and everyone else in the world) for ever being born?
i could go on ad nauseum, but that's what you're here for

The thing with apologizing it is like eating.
If you are a host of a dinner party and your guests arrive and you sit everyone down at the table and serve yourself first while the rest of the guests get their silverware and drinks and then apologize profusely for serving yourself first while continuing to eat all the best bits of food before anyone even has a chance to sit down.... your apologies mean little and it shows that you dont think of your guests first but only of whatever desire is in your gut and your guests are only there to feed your ego even more.
Eventually those guests stop coming and the only ones around are the sycophants who just come for the free food.
She is the epitome of self serving hypocrite who has been doing it for so long she has fooled herself into thinking she is the victim when nobody of any value wants to eat with her.

    good analysis blue

U.S. students in France acid attack show compassion for assailant

American college students attacked with acid at a train station in France have offered compassion and prayers for their assailant, who authorities say suffers from a mental illness.

French authorities have said they don't believe extremist views motivated the 41-year-old woman arrested in the attack on the four Boston College students, who are studying abroad.

One of the students, Courtney Siverling, said in a post on Facebook that she was not injured and that all the women are "safe."

"I pray that the attacker would be healed from her mental illness in the name of Jesus and receive the forgiveness and salvation that can only come from Him," said Siverling, of Chester Springs, Pennsylvania.

The four women intend to remain in Europe to continue their studies, the spokesman for Boston College told The Associated Press.

The four were attacked Sunday morning at the Saint Charles train station in the southern French city of Marseille. Police in France described the suspect as "disturbed" and said the attack was not thought to be terror-related, according to a statement from Boston College, a private Jesuit school.
College spokesman Jack Dunn said the women were released from the hospital and expected to return to Paris on Monday.

Michelle Krug said she was one of two who got hit in the eye with "a weak solution of hydrochloric acid." She asked friends to "please consider thinking about/praying for our attacker" so she can receive help
"Mental illness is not a choice and should not be villainized," Krug, of White Plains, New York, wrote, adding she planned to continue her "incredible opportunity" to study in France.

Kelsey Kosten said on Facebook that all the women are doing much better and that she is looking forward to returning to Copenhagen to continue her studies abroad. Her father, Phillip Kosten, told The Boston Globe at his Winchester, Massachusetts, home that his daughter is "fine" and asked for privacy for his family.
    --------------------------------

Yeah umm no mention of "religion of peace" and numerous claims that 'terrorism was not involved'. ?!? Where is that data please? Just the data. Name and country of birth please.

Yeah umm bullshit, so the genetically bred testicle free Frenchies 'don't believe extremist view motivated..." the attack ?!? WTF who in their fool fkucking mind throws acid in young girls faces WITHOUT being an extremist?? Apologetic MSM is dialing up denial big time.

Yeah umm and about that bullshit, how is it that 4 young Boston College co-eds get acid to the face and then they have been genetically bred to 'feel bad' for the attacker HAS ZERO TO DO WITH THE GUILT of the 'non extremist' attacker. Pray for her in prison for life. Right Pray. Do that. Get back to us how well that helped assuage your white middle class guilt?

WTF is with 'peaceful' people these days?

naw, put your gun back in the holster
this may be just a crazy bag lady
it was not acid as you think it is
acid can be something as benign as lime juice
nobody was hurt so this acid was very very weak
probably safer than getting mountain dew in your eye

Youre sooooo full of shit Rube

Hydrocloric acid is no bueno even if diluted
and one girl is reported with eye damage requiring further care AFTER the hospital care

Crazy bag lady or not the media is clearly hiding certain facts

Same as you're delighted to brush over them
Acid in a girls face = Acid in a girls face bucko.. not lime juice

Don't even try to spin that

I only read the article, dont taze me bro.
The article said the chicks were fine and that it was weak diluted hydochloric acid.
I am familiar with the stuff and have had it burn my insides before. It was the worst experience in my life and it scarred me forever inside and out.
Worse than being beaten in the head repeatedly with a piece of iron, worse than live knee surgery while awake because anesthetic failed, worse than drinking gasoline as a dumb little kid thinking he could syphon gas like his dad (looked easy), worse than most any of the many horrifically painful things I have had the pleasure of experiencing.
The article did not make it seem that bad.
And it was a woman who did the attacking.
    Meh.
Im a chauvinist pig in that I give women all the benefit of the doubt and cant possibly think them responsible of shitty male action as terrorism. Women have their place in terrorism of course, just not as terrorists. They are the reason why men become terrorists and are willing to martyr themselves.
The same reason knights would go off and die for the stupid whims of the Queen who would make them fall in love with her even though they both knew that the love was 100% unrequited and that the Queen would never have sex with him but he could not have sex with others because he was tied to this chaste religiouslike platonic 'love' that could only be expressed by going on suicide missions to please her whims. This was called courtly love and it is the same thing terrorists feel.
It is why this thing is called ISIS, and why this is not a new thing.
The women used to cry and wail for Tammuz the dead son of Isis who she put back together so they could be together forever as King and Queen in heaven.
Isis is the Queen of Heaven that they are going for, that is why they are promised all them virgins.
What they dont know is that like the chaste Knight the actual virgins are the dudes not the chicks. They are the virgins being set up for the Queen of 'Heaven' ISIS to consume in her fire aka the absolute chaos that is mother nature.

I hope you are paying attention to what is going on up in the sky this week.
33 days after the eclipse another phenomena will appear in the sky
This sign has never happened before and thats just one of the reasons its special, thats if the people who are keeping tabs on this astronomical clock stuff are actually right and not making one key point up.

The virgin queen is cloaked by the Sun. That shadow and glare that is her raiment does not allow us on earth to witness the build up of this event and possibly wont allow us to even see it when it happens. The 3 wandering stars have to align alongside the 9 stationary ones to show the 12 tribes in her crown. We cant prove that though because we most likely wont be able to see it.
And we wont see neo-Jupiter descending from the womb of Virgo.
Or the great beast, the dragon serpent of 7 heads and 10 crowns who shows up to devour neo Jupiter.
Another name for that dragon is the roaming dead planet Wormwood.
Something has to stop Wyrmwood the Dragon from devouring the new birthed son of the father star.
Dont trip though, remember when I said the virgins the terrorists dream of in the sky are the terrorists themselves.
So who is the RED beast really trying to devour?
Who is the unique son of the father?
Of all his sons which one is the image of the father?
US, the USA both national and spiritual because there are a ton of freedom loving Americans who are Real Americans and would give their left nut and right tit if they could have been born in the US, people who would risk their lives to come to America and defend it from the ENEMY.

That is the image of the father.
It is us, but within us there are traitors who are neither with us or with the enemy. They are the worst, they think they are Americans but are blind men in a dark room trying to develop negatives into positives. Lack of perspective gets men to this place. It is virtually impossible to escape, it takes a miracle.

There is also the image of the beast.
And it is them, but within them there are heroes who are neither with the enemy nor with us... only because they have yet to know us. They are the best of them, so mercy.

    Spinning yet?
    :D

I took a Chicano studies course once. I lasted one day. And I was actually interested going into it. But I was just handed a text book about why/how white people are oppressing Hispanics and I decided it wasn't for me.
