meh, it looks like the head takes the space that actual beer could be in. and who needs a beer to stay cold for two innings?

Citi field has ALOT of good food and alot of choices, I havent been to new yankee stadium yet but the old stadiums food sucked but outside it was bangin.they had any type of food you wanted (mexican, asian, italian, american, polish) and that was a treat at least.CBP in philly is amazing! Right up there with citi, the food is actually better imo but the prices are higher and the selection isnt as good but the cheesesteaks, sausages, and anything from bull's bbq is bitchin.camden yards had decent food, nothing great, but the prices were very low.if anybody's ever in reading for a r-phils game the food and beer is GREAT and at a really good price.I spend ALOT of time there considering it's like 10 mins by car from me and it's honestly a great experience and dollars dogs go down great with a $3 bottle of yuengling :)

My question isn't it going to water down your beer? Imo only thing worse than a warm beer is a watered down beer

I don't think frozen beer will water down beer bro. It'll beer it down. Frozen water(what we call ice) waters down beer. :p

Hey quick question, I'm going down the Philly August 16th for the series against the Dodgers, have any hotel recommendations? I'm going with my two friends so price isn't too big of an issue since we'll be splitting the room, we're just mainly looking for a clean one in a good area near some bars and restaurants.

Stay as close to broad st. as possible and you'll have as much beer and food you'll need and as far away from the hoodlums as possible.I normally just stay at the holiday inn which is actually pretty nice and there's a fun sports bar right around the corner but I must warn u, the crowd gets pretty rowdy after games lol.think I used to pay somewhere righy around $100 a night at holiday inn.I stayed at a rits the one time for close to double the price and got the same exactly thing as holiday inn....felt incredibly ripped off

inserting a little physics to calm the fears...

the beer head that is frozen is only beer
and since beer is largely water anyways the frozen head remains beer
    and the water portion freezes
therefore if one were to seek greatest purity
one would discard the entire frozen head before it thawed
as it would have ever so slightly more water to beer ratio
    than the non frozen liquid

however discarding the frozen head could also been seen as a party foul
as it retains 'some' portion of beer
and thus you'd be discarding 'some' portion of known good beer

but freezing the head is not 'watering down' your beer
since the head only came from the beer

as someone who's been around beer for many years
and knew a brew master employed by Anheiser Busch
I know that Bud Light is exactly Budweiser... to the drop... and then they add 33% water

why anyone would pay the same price for 1/3 water is beyond me
but light beer drinkers are clueless
and brewers now make 33% more profit on those items
makes it easier to pay for Stupor Bowl advertising

but freezing the head to keep my beer chilled for ANY amount of time at the park is a good thing
as cold beer >> warm beer in all cases

I want GG to install peltier devices in all of the seat cupholders
now that would solve the problem

though as Diablo notes when was the last time a beer lasted two innings?

Maybe it's just the alcoholic in me but I've never had a beer get warm at a ball game.

As for the food, I don't much care how the ball park food is, it's just as overpriced as beer and every park in America lets you bring your own. I soak a watermelon in vodka the day before, slice it up and pack it with the rest of your food, they never check, its all about not bringing drinks in their security search.
