My dad is the same type of Tommy character.
    But at all times lol.
When the nurses come to prick him he cusses them out in spanish.
Then when they tell him they understand spansh he acts all embarassed.
There has never been any love between my dad and I.
My relationship with him has always been simply that he has a title and I have to respect it when it is in front of me as best as I can.
But as he has aged I have tried to break through his shell a bit.
Hes a lot more 'nice' now and does have genuine moments... but only when he's scared.
I wonder if I am the same way.
When we are scared we can sometimes be more open to letting certain people in when normally we would not.
Like how hte country is right now.
Scared and soft and easily penetrated by a stronger force that can overwhelm our ability to detect it before its too late.
Even if that stronger force is soft power.
My dad seemed better when we spoke yesterday, he said they were gonna remove the breathing tubes today or tomorrow.
Gonna call him later to see how hes breathing.
And tell him about this spiked olive oil a friend gave me.
Maybe it could help his congestion?

Hope St Peter didn't ask him what he thought of Kingman's performance.

    RIP.

Tears on watching this one, no doubt...
Looks like the Dodgers are at their best when it's most "improbable"...'81, '88, and that God forsaken 2020.

Highly recommend the tributes on the Dodger channel. Something that stood out to me was that to a man, they commented how kind Lasorda was to their family members and how he remembered all their names.

Man, looking back at all the videos of him during this has depressing, but at the same time I’m thankful for all the time we had this guy around. I don’t know if you could find anyone ANYWHERE that loved their team more than he did. I had the chance to meet him on a number of occasions and he was always a treat. He’s going to be missed.

Also, I’m banning all material from now forward from Dodgers Digest and asking our members to no longer support their site. That fucking cunt Dustin Nosler can eat a giant bag of nails. Him, Brim and Petrello shit on Tommy every chance they had, then once again took a shot at him in their announcement that he passed. They can fuck off forever.

There's that barn fire again...I have no idea what they said, but if they ragged on Tommy, then yeah,..burn, baby, burn.
    Douchebags.
Btw, Finski- my experience in NC was this...I was given free room and board, fed three meals a day at no cost, and my clothing was paid for. You could do worse somewhere else, believe me.

I play the barn fire card too often. I'll work on decreasing that hyperbole.

May they die in a silo fire.

As for NC, it's nearly impossible to find any negatives about the place. My Brooklyn father spoke often of its natural beauty. That's enough already. Your additional endorsement alongside the other fifty people I've spoken to about the place makes out focus easier than ever.

Kentucky is a junior version of NC at about 8% less expensive per sq ft on real-estate. It's less urban but more Catholic. I know of four schools there we'd be glad to end my kids to.

    Anyway... thanks for the comment.

Nah, the barn is fine...and your kids can eventually get the treatment I got in NC.
    Ft. Bragg is awesome..
Unless it's called something else now...
