Bobby Valentine just tweeted something that appears to be about Tommy Lasorda passing.
It's real. Damn
"I bleed Dodger blue and when I die, I'm going to the big Dodger in the sky." RIP Tommy Lasorda
RIP Tommy. I don't think it's possible to bleed more Dodger Blue than Tommy.
Just a sad, sad time...loved ya Tommy.
Thanks for the memories.
My dad's been sick in the hospital with covid and heart congestion. He thinks he's gonna die this time for real.
At least the dodgers could win one for Tommy before he passed.
Fuck these pandemic measures that have people dying alone.
I'll say a mess of Hail Marys for your pop. Fat lot of good prayers will do coming from a heretic Papist mook like me ... but I'll say them anyway, brohim.
As for Lasorda ... well, God bless his blue heart. I loved the guy; went to Mass with him about ten times; he was VERY nice to my grandma for years; he was and always will be a winner.
Rest forever, Tommy.
I'm sorry to hear about your dad. I think the saddest and scariest thing about this whole pandemic is that people can't have loved ones around when they die. I don't know the right answer, but I know it is a shitty situation (an understatement). God bless your family, Rube, and I hope the best for your dad.
Tommy held on long enough for one last title. He’s yelling obscenities at mascots and Kurt Becacqua in heaven now.
MLB's mafioso manager
Can hear him now.." tell ya what, that cocksucker Saint Peter better open those gates "
he was so rough the last few years i'm just glad he's not suffering anymore
also incredibly happy he was able to witness one more glorious WS victory by his Dodgers
will always be the heart of the team
try not to bust too many balls up there Tommy RIP
really sorry to hear this rube
these are some tough unprecedented times
i pray for you father, your family, and you rube
you’re a good man and a good son
when mom went in several months back i went through this
the thought of her passing alone was incredibly devastating emotionally
but she came back out!
keep the faith my friend it can happen
are you sure you can't get to see him?
truly one of a kind and inarguably the most loyal dodger and dodger fan ever
we may have lost two great people with vinny’s wife and now tommy passing...
but heaven gained two angels
i had to make a call but i can tell you it IS possible for you to get in to see him depending on where he's at of course
we had a family at the school lose their 3 week old child recently and they were able to get in as well as the grand parents to say goodbye
i think the requirements are that there is nothing more that can be done and you have to request "special permission"
i know that's grim but its all i've got brother
Not my style.
If I go I'm going in dark.
And it's to bust him out.
Bring him home.
He don't have to die alone.
But he's not with his family.
He chose to kick it with the Kaiser.
The Kaiser won't suffer him much longer.
The sea people's don't carry the weak.
If you can't swim you die.
And his lungs are under the sea.
These doctors don't know about the bends and they kill their patients as they pull them out from the depths crushing them from the inside.
It takes too many years and too much debt for a doctor with a family to support to do anything that would possibly hurt his license. The doctors don't work for you no matter how much you pay their premiums. They work for the bookkeepers that wrote their pharmacopeia books.
Sorry for your troubles, Rube.
Sorry to hear about your pops. Prayers brother
