AND now people are complaining and saying this is service time manipulation. The dude has not looked like a major leaguer since coming back, he needs to figure his shit out.

Agreed. Couldn’t turn two, errant throw to first. Looks lost. Probably needs to get MILB time to sync and get hot. Promote while confident and then roll.
Too bad he’ll only get extended summer time work instead of real competition against other teams.

He looked like Audie Murphy without the beard.
    A standout, true American hero.
Now, with the growth, he looks like every/any other smuck out there.
It's known as reverse Delilah syndrome.

Yeah, but 30 man roster, they are still definitely manipulating the service time

If he would have been in camp earlier, and was raking while playing solid D, he would make the squad no doubt. He just suck right now

I feel like I would be just as good as Pollock. I’m not saying I would be better, I wouldn’t. But just as good? Why not.

It is a service time thing. No doubt. 30 man roster and a DH. They are going to carry a dedicated runner. Dick move and I approve.

Guess he just had to book it by car from Colorado to get there in time for the game. He still has a bit to prove, but he probably should get a pass for last night.

Not with the way the other guys have been looking. Sure it is a 30 man roster, but most of those spots are rightfully going to the pitching staff in the early going. If a dude with options is struggling in August and you are in midst of a playoff race, you aren't bringing him up to ride the pine over hitters that may be more impactful. The club already has bench spots for Taylor/Hernandez, Barnes, Rios(who has been shitting on the ball), Beaty and Gore since if you're gonna do that stupid 2nd base thing, might as well have an 80 runner. In the end, there was just not room for him on the roster of a team currently in the playoff hunt.

I don't disagree with that sentiment, but I have a wait and see approach with former Rockies. It was always that the pitchers careers were ruined here and the hitters #'s were inflated, but the recency bias is that just getting away from that franchise seems to be good for you whether you are a pitcher or a hitter. The Rockies are considered one of least forward thinking clubs in the sport and there is a feeling throughout baseball that they under utilize their assets and under prepare them to boot. The Dodgers think the big issue with McGee was his sequencing, so it will be interesting to see what they do here since they really do not have great options in the pen from the left side.
