They could build a new stadium in San Jose if the Guggenheims want shiny new digs. The dodgers have no marketing rights with the giants preventing it like the A's do. After they leave, the city of LA can tear down the old place and build the shiny new stadium some are clamoring for. After its finished the A's can move in and both cities would have natural cross town rivals without ridiculous interleague requirements. It wouldn't be the first time this team had something exciting happen to it, only to leave a city broken hearted. Sorry, I've been drinking heavily today....
DodgersBeat @DodgersBeat Lates update on stadium renovations. RF scoreboard has been gutted. #Dodgers via @testmessanger pic.twitter.com/hten8SSL
Don't shoot the messenger...but if this leaked image is true....lmao at that hideous outfield fence. Janet Smith has gotta be better than that!
That can't be safe, can it? Kemp needs all the padding he can get. This looks like Matt is at risk for electricution.
Dodgers are holding a press conference tomorrow to talk about the renovations. Pretty excited, although most of what's happening has probably been leaked already
I was there yesterday, all the bathrooms are gutted out, the walls torn out. They are renovating the restrooms. The concourses Loge-Top deck aren't being renovated this of season though pretty sure.
What I mean is the entire concourses were redone on the field level a few years back. That's not happening this off season I don't think. Just the restrooms.
Yeah, the concrete is being put back for the field level seats right now. They have big holes dug out for the new sewage lines and stuff. I took a couple pics and sent them to DodgersBeat. Not a good shot field wise, but the scoreboards are being dismantled: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/A_9xSmiCAAAxtCL.jpg:large
real rendering from the Dodgers Get all the updates and pics from https://twitter.com/Dodgers A LOT OF Stuff and they are funneling in all the improvements. Too many to post. Check it out.
They are adding standing room only locations above the bullpens, which is awesome. Reducing seats to widen concourses (awesome) and the new screens sound fucking great. Can't wait to go on opening day
Hopefully I can go to a game this year it looks like the place is going to be colorful at least. We have an amazing grounds crew, the grass looks amazing even during a renovation. Not sure if this was posted or not. http://losangeles.dodgers.mlb.com/n...c_id=la&partnerId=aw-5487569273734715776-1034
These guys are spending big bucks... It all sounds great... Theres some pictures on dodgers.com and the place looks like a mess... The most amazing part is the under the field clubhouses. Thats whats called thinking outside of the box...
