Dodger Stadium upgrades: Clubhouses, scoreboards, wireless, and more From TrueBlue LA. Same stuff soming from the Times and other blogs For 13 more photos http://www.truebluela.com/2012/12/10/3752980/dodger-stadium-renovation-photos Jorge Jarin said on the radio, "The new scoreboards will be identical and 33% larger than the current ones". I'm excited to be able to make a phone call. I doubt they get to the restrooms this season though. Still, new scoreboards are cool. The ones installed in the wall were only 5 years old lol so I'm guessing the new ones are top of the line. Getting rid of the old crappy jumbotron in LF and the old scoreboard in RF will be nice to look at. I think they're getting a new sound system as well. Long overdue. I was surprised to see how torn up the place is right now lol.
these guys get it and they're willing to do whatever it takes to please the fans funny... with the lakers struggling the dodgers have a real opportunity to become la's preeminent team the way it used to be
Drove by the stadium a couple hours ago. Peeked through the fence like Ruven at a pre school. Looks like they're tearing up the facades on the outside too by the pavilions.
New scoreboards?? Why? What was wrong with the other ones? I hate this....they could be using this money to sign ex-Giants like Wilson and any other ones that might be out there. Ned needs to step up here...

Eh I love Dodger Stadium. I don't want a new one. The structure and architecture has aged well and can be easily renovated into a first class stadium.
Seriously could be an option down the line though. When we have home games, they have away games and vice versa
That could've happened last season actually. Remember when it came out that Frank separated all of his assets? Selig could seize the Dodgers but Frank owned the stadium. The Dodgers and Angels never played home games on the same night last year and it was a possibility (if Frank didn't sell the team) Selig would've seized the team, went to court, and had the Dodgers play their home games in Anaheim. How nuts would that have been?
New Jersey is the place to go...plenty of space in the NW corner by me. C'mon over... Or New Zealand. Let NZ rock with the flock for a while. I bet I'm the only one that knows that nickname, eh?
