Put it this way, I'd rather be the team with the chance of being laughed at, instead of the team we were last year coming into the season.

Hey I got this really sweet idea for a Dodger video. You and I could tag team it like Irish and I did Greinke's wife.

Kemp coming back too soon and not having a day off after his return the first time after his injury really fucked us over. he was having what looked like another MVP season.

I know, it pains me. It looked like we were poised to have the best player in the NL for a good run of time. Hopefully the crash into the wall doesn't derail that. From being an MVP to just an All-Star would be kind of a bummer. Haven't had a guy like this in forever.

Hopefully Puig is the next in line to be that MVP type player.

Watching the replay of the Dodger Angel game. Why does Van Slyke and some of the other minor leaguers wear big huge dorky helmets?

I got that but if we throw Ethier behind AGon, his inability to hit lefties well become glaring when a manager goes to a lefty versus he and gonzo.

If I'm not mistaken, I very easily can be, but AGon hits lefties better than righties so I don't think it would change ethier's situation a whole lot.

Looking at his splits, it appears he actually hits lefties better than righties (mea culpa). If that is the case, the lineup will be:
    Crawford/Ellis/Kemp/AGon/Ethier/Cruz/Hairston/Ellis/P

Billingsley hurls six-plus innings in Minors game

LOS ANGELES -- Dodgers right-hander Chad Billingsley did not appear limited by his bruised right index finger in a strong outing Friday against Milwaukee's Triple-A affiliate.
In six-plus innings against the Nashville Sounds, Billingsley allowed one run on four hits. He struck out six against one walk on 96 pitches.

Billingsley held the Sounds scoreless for six innings until he hit the only batter he faced in the seventh, who came around to score, before being removed from the game.

The Dodgers are still determining where to slot Billingsley in their starting rotation.

"The problem with Chad is he only has [a certain] amount of innings, and most of them have been against the Minor Leagues," manager Don Mattingly said Thursday. "So he hasn't been in the big league games that much."

Billingsley was scheduled to return to Los Angeles after his outing.

I can't get past those tents making such an amazing stadium look so tacky! It blocks all of the beautiful scenery behind the bullpen!!

 I know. It pisses me off. I've got mlb audio, though - so I'm keeping calm listening to Vin. I hope it boots up soon.

    I'm just watching Gameday.

Dodgers in regular season form; 2 runners in scoring position with no outs are about to be left stranded.
