Extremely happy but extremely not surprised. I've said this for the past few year but Vin will retire when Vin dies. He loves this too much to walk away. He may not call the road games anymore but he will never give it all up.

SO excited. Sad at the same time, because I feel SO LUCKY for 2013, but there is that chance he's not gonna come back the next year And that makes me so fucking sad! God he is such a big part of my life. I wish he wouldn't get older. Selfish, I know, but every time he returns, my worry of him retiring one day continues. Love you Vin!
I wonder if somebody sent Vin cookies to convince him to come back in '13. At least Vin gets a quality team now to do play by play for instead of the trash that was put in front of him by previous ownership. I really felt bad for Vin when the team had Uribe and Loney and the rest of the good-for-nothings on it. Now the team has been rebuilt right before his eyes in incredible fashion and the Dodgers are World Series contenders. I bet Vin has to be very pleased about that.
