In mexican we say cito. As in el pastorcito, el viejecito. Or sita. Mamasita, virgensita. Or illo. Changes viejito into viejillo from the original viejo. In Spanish you try not to say "old man", you say little old man. It means cherished not specifically little or small but long appreciated.
