How playoff pressure tested is Davis? I guess we would know if his team ever made it out of the first round.
The Pels swept the Blazers a couple years ago so he did advance out of the 1st round. Meanwhile, Dame Lillard obviously just took a shit on George in the playoffs this year. I will add this, and you can go and look for yourself, Anthony Davis has been outstanding in the playoffs thus far in his career. Way better than George. So get on board with AD, and hop off George. There can be no real comp between the two.
Just means additional pressure to step up. Especially at home in LA. I'm going to doubt him until he shows me something other than disappointment. Throughout the history of the game, some guys of star stature just shrink when it matter most. Harden is another one
Some of the games can be labeled garbage time games, but not all. Especially the Clip game when the Clippers were still fighting for playoff seeding and Caruso ran all over them. They paid attention. And PJ Tucker started paying attention after Caruso dunked on his ass. Right now he's $5.5M over 2 years good. That's what his market said, where the Warriors were after him. He would seem to be on the rise.
This would certainly take their offensive rating down.. Bleacher Report@BleacherReport Rival execs have pinpointed the Rockets as a “likely suitor” in a potential Russell Westbrook trade, per @sam_amick and @BDawsonWrites Time to see how much of a genius Morey really is.
Just when you thought it was over Chris Sheridan@sheridanhoops I am hearing that @russwest44 to Miami has legs ... sturdy ones. But gotta make the money work, and that will not be easy
Hollis-Jefferson landed in Toronto Don't know why LAL rescinded Johnathan Williams' QO, but he's out. Bucks added another Greek freak
@wojespn Once guard Avery Bradley clears waivers today, he plans to sign a two-year, $9.7M deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, his agent Bill Duffy of @BDA_Sports tells ESPN. Bradley will have a player option on the second season. I like it.
Now I have to wonder how much of Rondo's contract is guaranteed in the 2nd year But I like this too. I was just saying we needed one more hustle/dirty work type of player, thought it might be Hollis-Jefferson, but this is better. Bradley can at least hit shots. Pelinka got him in most likely, former client
So I guess you can get more than the vet min after being bought out Bradley got the room exception. Iggy is probably going to the Rockets in some shitastic Morey trade Still think Korver could land with LAL as well, but the rotation is already pretty full
I’m so hoping Morey trades for Westbrook. I admit it, I like to stare at car crashes. This would be a catastrophe slowly unfolding before us.
I'm just wondering why they haven't announced Rondo yet but announced everyone else. I mean, I wouldn't mind not signing him
Saw that too. I so hope the deal fell apart. Lakers don't need Rondo this year unless he agrees to take a lesser role until maybe the playoffs when he can gear up.
Personally, I don't like Green or LeBron defending point guards. If they have to, I'd like Javale at center to have 2 shot blockers back there when they get blown by
I hope Bradley and KCP can work in concert somewhat. When KCP goes cold for weeks, that Bradley picks up the slack I really hope Rondo is backing out.
If they really are going LeBron at point, go Caruso or Bradley at the 2 to switch off with LeBron on defense. Bradley and Caruso would be a nice defensive tandem against opposing PGs. Green can start at SF. AD - 4, Boogie - 5
