    Honestly, I am trying to figure out why Verdugo, with line of .306/.352/.500/123 wRC+/9.8 K%...isn't ever leading off.

    Joc and Taylor are barely putting up a .330 OBP with tons of Ks.

    When Joc is hot, mashing RHP, and putting up a .900+ OPS, I'm totally fine with him up there. But when he's in a GrandMAL slump, not taking his walks, and not hitting HRs, he needs to move down.

    Verdugo makes contact, gets on base, and has tons of XBH. He also hits both RHP and LHP.

    and on cue Dodger nation has an article on how davey remains confident in barnes "its going to turn"
    i also noticed him w his arm around Verdugo late yesterday patting him on the chest while we watched the rat strike out one more time
