winning series is/are great when you're up 5.5 games
but when you'r 5.5 back, anything less than a sweep = fail
these are the type of teams we're supposed to fatten up against
and we're not getting it done
there will be no 42-8 run this year
our guys are simply not getting it done

It's really their fault for not at least being tied with the giants for the season series. We can still win series and gain ground as long as the gnats hit a losing stream like all teams do. But we have dug an early hole.

you can't expect any team to sweep any series against any "inferior opponent" or any opponent obviously

4-2 is .667 ball, which should put you in good position

it's still at the point where if they played .667 they would be fine lol but we don't need to play that well even

I enjoyed the 2007 Dodgers more than this team. Just same old boring shit every night. I really just need a Puig app on my phone, because he's the only Dodger positional player worth a shit. So uninteresting these fools are.

The ugly truth on this team is :
Kemp got paid he doesn't give a shit
Crawford got paid he doesn't give a shit
Hanley is negotiating to get paid he's playing not to fuck that up.
The cool guy w the beard got paid he doesn't give a shit.
Donnie is trying to grab control of this team but the players who got paid are running the show. I'm sure kemp, Hanley and probably Crawford were fucking around in ny and were either showing up late or coming in hungover. And that's cool to do when your playing great but when you can't hit for shit and then your defense is even worse day after day it's a problem.

No, didn't know they were the same thing....so sorry. Shocking, I know.
But I did invent the smilie face.
And have been able to live off the stipend I receive from another one of my inventions.
    It's a struggle though.

I'll go with the much more logical explanation that:
Kemp got hurt and will never be the same
Crawford and Ethier are past their primes
Hanley is playing hurt and getting bad luck with a career worst BABIP
We're 1.5 games out of the WC

The lineup today blows. Hopefully Beckett brings his A game.

So what was Crawford excuse in Boston? Was he past his prime then? Or was it the injury? Dude is in his prime. 32 is not old in baseball.
Btw I didn't bring up ethier, who I might add is getting a bad wrap. The dude is doing what he's expected to do. Jd drew part 2. Not a bad player. He's just not on the right club. Btw he's 31. Again not old in baseball.
Kemp got hurt....His shoulder has nothing to do with his bullshit approach at the plate. He still has the power. He's shown it.
Bad luck on Hanley huh. Damn that big dodger in the sky. Why can't he turn that grey sky blue?! My good friend works directly with both Hanley and Puig. I'll just leave it at that.
As far as the wc. You can't win the pennant in May. But when the effort in May is shit, you can expect that to carry on for quite some time.

On a brighter note. Looking for a big performance from puig. Looks like everyone else kinda struggles against burnet so if they are working the count we might have a chance.

Yea that cool guy is Wilson.
Kinda reminds me of the movie major league. Dude got paid and couldn't throw heat anymore. Still had it in him just needed to stop being cool and get focused.
