    You're right about Cueto. In that 2013 wild card game in Pittsburgh, the Pirate fans taunted him and were successfully able to get under his skin. First he drops the ball while on the mound, then he gives up a bomb to Russell Martin on the very next pitch. He's a great pitcher for sure. But I'm not sure a guy with that fragile a psyche would be our best choice over other guys. And I personally like Cole Hamels.

    i don't think hamels is trash, but i think there may be better options for us
    especially since that douchebag amaro always tries to gouge us

    and fwiw, cueto wouldn't be my top choice either

    If you were to tell me that our best pitcher would have an era over 4.00 and we would be in 1st place 11 games over 500 I'd say you're crazy. Let's stop talking about trading the farm for the likes of Hamels or Cueto et al which is what it would take.

    Hi Keith, thanks for your time. Thoughts on Jose De Leon and what/who the Dodgers may be looking at in the draft?

    Dodgers draft so late that I don't have anything more than 'best player available.' They do have extra picks so they can be creative with trying to get some tougher signs with subsequent picks. De Leon has above-average stuff with plus deception and a pretty clean delivery. Looks like I may have underranked him in January.

    Yeah and if Ryu doesn't come back, you really want to roll with two of Bolsinger/Frias/Baker/Wieland for two months? Law of averages says it will catch up with us. You can't expect our hitters to keep hitting like they are.

    There is no indication he's not coming back or he would be shut down for the season. Kershaw will get right and Anderson is improving while Greinke has been our rock and if you think getting a big name won't require Seager or Urias then you're delusional. Guys like Bolsinger and Frias are giving us good solid starts and I for one am impressed. The worst thing we can do is make a panic move .As for our offense, before the season most of the experts thought it would be solid and it's not like it's been a small sample, we've been hot since mid March.

    David Price didn't get the Rays a top prospect (He had 1 and half years of control), Cueto has half a year of control, he can be attained without giving up either one.
