LETS FUCKING GO Couldn't get on last night after the game but that was amazing, just finished watching the highlights and the interviews. Bottom of our lineup picking up for the top was probably the last thing I expected going into the playoffs but if it continues I'm not sure how we can be beat.
I'll give Greinke this.......he was honest. He said he would go to the highest bidder and he did. No JD Drew bullshit.
It's not about whether he is great or saving the bag of tricks for later. But sometime you don't fuck with chemistry just to check out other guys. Go with the formula that got you there, this isn't spring training anymore. He threw guys off there rhythm. Which threw us into a bad losing streak which almost cost us the homefield advantage. Adding proven players, checking in your prospects to see were there development is at to see if they have improve here and there is acceptable and checking on guys that you may believe as a Manager might have turned the corner here and there is acceptable but every fucking night and watch the wheels come off. In my honest opinion this team saved his ass from looking real bad. But it came real close to losing the momentum and what makes this team tough is if the top of the line up chokes the bottom steps up and vice versa. Then when the whole group is in tune watch out bitchez......
Not only was the Robbie Ray beast slain, but a big dent (homo) was put in the ass of Archie Bradley. Glad Lovello gave both enough rope to hang themselves.
Wonderful win...I initially thought AZ was in crush mode against Hill, but he kept a lid on it. And the no-no was so annoying, especially given the deep abhorrence of the wonderful and magical Robby Ray. We are doing this ( or have done, to date) with little or no help from Seager or Cody. It leaves quite a dead spot around Turner on both front and behind but whatever. Puig is an inferno, and even when he doesn't rake, he s having productive ABs. Glad for him, and aside from a silly steal, love the way he's playing the game now. My only complaint is, and I posted about this specifically before, multiple times, is Morrow really convinced because he can reach 100 mph, a ML hitter can't catch up to it? I mean if Drury wasn't sitting on that, a wild man doesn't shit in the woods Now, Dodger Nation turns it's lonely eyes to Yu...
Corey and Cody with some success there..Corey had a hell of a Game 1 this series, he might get back to that against Greinke Also, Yasmani obviously knows him very well, slugging .500, perhaps we'll get a bat drop
FWIW, Dave said he pulled Maeda cause he likes Maeda facing righties only and that 3 of next 4 batters were lefties. Don’t really like that logic but oh well. At least we know Maeda’s stuff looked great against a righty Also, he said Utley will start Game 3. Logan looked good but starting Chase game 3 sounds good to me. Unsure what he’ll do in LF and C. Wonder if he starts Ethier in LF cause I feel like Ethier does great in Arizona and looks like Curtis doesn’t have good results in 63 PA’s off Zachary
