Far too many of these parks look exactly the same. Green seats, green walls, 40k capacity, split deck seating, contrived dimensions, wannabe retro features, downtown setting etc. Nothing truly unique about any of these parks. Why would the Atlanta Braves have green walls?

Looks like a slightly advanced minor league park. Bricks above the RF wall in play is stupid

I said this in one of my recent posts.
That it may be Toles, Calhoun and some minor league pitching prospects that get the deal done.
But that Puig stays and allows the Dodgers to field a good defensive OF.

Make it happen. A RH pure hitter (on-base, slugging, volume) like Bruan in the middle of our order makes Puig's lack of consistency tolerable. His .800ish OPS with great defense in RF will play in a low key role.

In 2016, the Dodgers sold fewer than 40,000 tickets for four of their 81 home dates.

This year, they sold fewer than 40,000 tickets for three of their first seven home dates.

Dodger stadium should have fewer seats.

I think DS could be transformed to a much better environment if you removed seats (something TB hasn't passionately argued for) and allowed certain sections to bring some instruments.

The TV thing I believe is playing part. Slowly but surely.

My usual complaint is the stadium is too large and makes crowds of 40-46k look empty, whereas the Giants, Red Sox, and Cubs get so much notoriety for their "sell outs" of 35-42k. It's bad for the brand to have massive sections of empty pastel seats show up on television.

However, this isn't even my concern now. It's that actual attendance (not just the optics) is declining.

There are a lot of things MLB can learn from the WBC, but the instruments...for me...nah.

Interesting...the "TV thing" you mention is a bit puzzling...usually a blackout ( or limited broadcasts) is used to increase attendance aren't they? Or maybe I have it backwards...could be.
Don't the LAD lead MLB every year? 3 Mil +?

Back to this topic again... yes, Dodger Stadium has too many seats. They did take out some a few years ago when they did the clubhouse renovations. Need to knock out like 5-7K more. Although that'll probably never happen because $$$$$
