    I seriously LOL'd at this article.

    Someone should remind this clown that we're up double digits on both these teams in the standings not to mention the Cubs still have to win their god awful division they are only 1 game up in.

    genuinely some of the nicest people i've met as a group
    their country is one of the craziest places i've ever been for pure culture shock
    tell them i've been from trincomalee to lahugala to galle to kandy to see the tooth of the buddha lol
    i love that name la hoooga la for some reason it strikes me as hysterical
    i remember being at a ucla tennis match between agassi and kurten years back
    i had just come back from ceylon and right before the serve it gets quiet but people still shout out something
    suddenly i blurt out lahugala and well, lets just say i'm easily amused but people definitely looked around

    dealt with this couple today, you should have seen it
    dad is trying to control their unruly kid and then the mom goes off on the dad
    starts calling him out saying "leave him alone, what the fuck are you doing?
    just cuts his legs off right in front of me
    i'm keeping my head down but inside i'm screaming "dude, man the fuck up and set here straight"
    but instead he says "why are you being so mean to me"
    i lost all respect for him right then and there
    instead of defending himself and firing right back, he takes it and rolls up into a fetal pussy ball
    when they come back later he's trying to do all this nice shit for her...
    "here i'll get that" type of shit
    if she didn't own him before, she does now
    i can't see how people tolerate that kind of shit

    Yeah...coulda been a contendah...if he isn't slowed by the back, he's in back in the day Newcombe/Kufu territory with his record
    Whatever has changed with statistical priorities, 27-7, 25-3, etc, are the kind of numbers that do echo in eternity. Those numbers are very seldom reached, if ever, these days...for whatever variety of reasons.
    A shame...but I'll take whatever he winds up with and be thankful, as all.

    Speaking of bb excellence, congratulations to Mike Trout, who at 26, has gotten 1000 + hits (last night).
    Like CK in Kufu kind of company, Trout is flirting with numbers similar to the Mick at this point in his career.
    Marvelous. Too bad about the team though. Wrong LA.

    It's a pretty absurd statement by the author of that article. If the 2017 Dodgers haven't really separated themselves from the competition, then the author is really just saying no one can ever separate themselves? The Dodgers didn't get the rules changed, so they still have to perform in the playoffs... I guess that's what he means?

    Another laughable part of the article is when he says the Dodgers are only 4-2 against the Cubs this year.

    First - those two losses came a week into the season, before Bellinger & Taylor, and before the 2017 Dodgers really became the 2017 Dodgers.
    Second - the Cubs only faced Kershaw once in those 6 games.
    Third - the most recent series the Dodgers worked the Cubs over, outscoring them 18-4. Looks like separation to me.
    Fourth - 4-2 is a really good record against any team, fuck that's a .667 winning percentage. So the whole premise is shot.

    By the way, playoff dates and networks announced today. TBS will do the entirety of the NL playoffs

    Game 1 and 2 of the NLDS will be on Friday October 6 and 7

    Game 1 and 2 of NLCS will be on Saturday October 14 and 15

    Gonna try and kill my bank account and get tickets for all 4

    Just bought an Epson projector and a 120 inch screen in preparation for October.

    Now let's hope we don't get the BS start times so we can watch all the games. Since we are facing AZ or COL, I'm assuming we will get shafted [homo].
