    i think for the most part you're right
    watson and cingrani wouldn't have been brought here if we had gotten britton
    weren't a lot of lhp options after him
    nerds are hoping one of the two or both in some combo form can help
    time will tell i guess
    could you imagine if we had urias as an option out of the pen?
    regardless of what happens this year, the future looks bright

    Then we must have one bigass shitload of practical knowledge in the bank, because we been failing for a long, long time.
    Think it's about time they got some results from this huge storehouse of practical savvy plus all the " theoretical" smarts from the great successes and use it to win one...I hope, I hope.
    Btw, to find every iota of what the FO fails or fucks up at ( just like every other one out there)- and they do and they have - as pre planned, or as an experiment, of something they were " testing" or whatever you call it these days, is a total crock of horseshit.
    Sure...you learn, or should learn when a Kazmir, say, is a useless POS...but to say it was anything other than a fuck up to sign him is...exactly what they learned.

    first they start praising charlie blackmon as the best leadoff hitter in baseball
    then reynolds starts calling him a legitimate mvp candidate
    and adds goldschmidt, arenado and harper
    after the commercial rosenthal comes in and attempts to restore some justice, calling blackmon a top 10 candidate and adds seager, bellinger and turner "of the all world dodgers" to the convo
    reynolds says blackmon's 1.004 ops puts him at mvp... somehow failing to notice turner's 1.009

    have no problem with him putting blackmon in the mvp mix
    but to imply he's the favorite and then mock rosenthal for only having him in his top 10 :smh:

    The quotation marks before and after injury means it was all planned by the FO then? If that's what you're suggesting, I wonder if they threatened Clayton's family?

    Not really nervous at all...just trying to stay within the narrative.
    Years of superlatives and record breaking spurts and division bests from the Dodgers, all ending in repetitious nothings have calmed my nerves, or dulled them, replacing it with something entirely different.
