worst kept secret in MLB is McCann's done in ATL after this year. would you sign him? we all love AJ, but do we all agree that McCann would be an upgrade? do we all agree that it'd be nice to have McCann AND AJ? just sayin. saving money by NOT chasing Cano could open up a lil dough to bring in another bat like McCann's for much less money. and that's before moving Crawford or Ethier ( and before paying Kershaw and Hanley, admittedly ) Puig CC ( or Dre) Hanley AGon Kemp McCann/AJ Uribe/Young A.Guerrero/M.Ellis i know we're getting to playoff time and that it's looking a little far off in the distance, but that's a pretty nice lineup. i suspect a good portion of us won't be fans of demoting AJ to backup. already accepting it
He's probably going to command a lot more than we'd like but if we find a way to rid ourselves of Carl I'd love to get another lefty in the lineup with mcCann, but then it'd say we should get an all glove SS. Our offense would hypothetically be good enough to warrant a glove only, meh bat SS to improve defense I mean: Puig-Ethier-Hanley-Adrian-kemp-McCann-Guerrero is gonna win you some games haha But the hard part is gonna be paying for McCann when loads of teams could use a catcher of his caliber and trading Crawford
81/81 with AJ I agree with. This guy gets injured if you look at him wrong. If we have the money, and can still upgrade, do it. And McCann is an upgrade over AJ, and AJ is an upgrade as backup over FedEx.

LOL, I wasn't really trying to make FedEx look good as much as I was pointing out how bad the other 2 have been.
bkitch Good thing as well is that he has "Mc" so we can put ANYTHING afterwords depending on the situation. I.e Mcchoke
the most important part of AJ's game is his bond with Kershaw... that's why he will be our catcher forever...
